Right? Knowing Konami they’ll do 3 first anyways, which is completely ass backwards. Meanwhile people not in the know will think “is this that blonde kid from Silent Hill 2?”.

AFAIK the only way to play SH1 is either an original copy, or emulation? Like why are we force to pirate it, or get an OG copy to play a classic? It’s crazy.
Sure, but I feel like we’ve reached “the end of the road” with 2, content and lore wise. The game is widely regarded as a masterpiece, even with the tank controls. They’re not going to break new ground with the remake and all the lore and intricacies of that game are explained fairly thoroughly by the community.
I’m still kind of perplexed that they chose to remake the second game, when Silent Hill 1 was sitting right there. I’ve never played SH2 thinking, “man, I wish this got the remake treatment”. It’s a perfect game, and all this only convinces me that the remake will probably be thought of as a lesser experience.
I don’t even think that’s true? You’re not forced to use Windows on a PC. Huh?
This seems to be an unpopular opinion but yeah, that crap was boring in ME1.
Sorry, Admiral Asskicker. I’ll do better next time.
Can’t believe I clicked on this.
Probably right. I assume most people would considering how big of an event Maria was, but probably not.
They made cyberpunk fps. I don’t think I would call that taking a huge risk at all.
Well, those AAA studios employ scores of people, so in that sense, it absolutely is the backbone.
I know it’s not a State but...I kind of feel like an American should be able to pick out the Puerto Rican flag? It’s not some place deep in east Asia, you know? Like it’s way closer to the mainland than Hawaii or Alaska.
I think it’s more like 40% water, 60% snakes and/or alligators, last I checked.
Don’t think so. There are scores of Korean or Asian artists who have this very common style. This is definitely the style that AI most commonly copies though.
Could be confusing if the name is just going to be “Switch”, and the year of release is the only way to differentiate between the new and previous models.
Maybe they should plan accordingly instead of wasting time on a staged demo, then crunching for two years to make a game that probably needed like 5 years of dev time? I dunno.
This is what I’m noticing as a first time player of Larian’s other game, Divinity Original Sin 2. It’s nothing serious, but I wish people on these community sites were less into min-maxing everything. It makes it hard for people who just want to enjoy the game and RP or whatever.
I mean you’re not completely wrong but “AI” in this (and probably most) instances is just a marketing term. What we call “AI” now is just a tool that interprets data, and is bound by that data. There’s nothing intelligent about it.
Oh interesting, I did not know that.
Hm so you’re saying it maybe generated kirby butthole? Interesting.
