This entire mess reeks of some idiot from the west flying halfway across the world to a place and culture he has zero knowledge of and making a fool of himself. Amazing.

God, that thing looks goofy. Why not just design it so a controller snaps to the bottom on either of the long sides? Why didn’t they just copy Nintendo’s Switch design?

Lol why does this read like the rationalization of a teenager?

Okay, I laughed.

Yeah, this seems about right. Alpha 2 higher than Alpha 3 is giving me a bad case of side-eye though. Alpha 3 was chaos, and as someone who never was a high level player, Alpha 3 was perfect & I still go back to it from time to time. And this is from someone who played the hell out of Alpha 2 on the SNES and loved

Everyone who draws has literally done this for various mundane reasons. Who cares? Why do people care like this? Is David going to be okay?

predatory business practices

Great? I mean why would anyone use a Gizmodo website as a source?

These are the kinds of games places like Kotaku pay the bills with. It also bums me out that, like the video says, scores of indie games will never even get an article from the websites that love advertising a game that is literally a scam.

I don’t think they’re ever going to do that, if Instagram is anything to go by.

That’s not a Meta thing? I mean Twitter was already doing this.

Also the app is freaking bare, feature wise. It doesn’t even have hashtags yet.

The wording they’re using is it hasn’t laucnhed in EU *yet*, I’ve not seen anything saying it won’t launch there. If that was the case I don’t think Facebook would have even bothered with threads.

...Why didn’t she just approach his security for a photo or whatever if she didn’t want the normie treatment?

She’s upset she got the pleb treatment. I’m pretty sure she also did this to normies, so the irony of it all must be stinging.

Right there in the article link:

Yeah. I mean I’m in my 30s but even if I disagreed with some form of art, I wouldn’t be up to censoring it. That’s straight out of the republican playbook. Maybe it’s a Gen Z thing but it really feels like things like Twitter and Reddit kind of make people hyper focus on stuff (that’d normally be mundane) to the point

I stand corrected!
