I thought don't involve thier children applied to younger children, like under the age of 18. If the child is a fully grown adult, appearing at the convention, and on the campaign trail making stump speeches, that's a totally different set of rules than you would apply to a 12 year old who maybe appears at the

When I was watching the show at 8 or 9, I wondered if that what's being a teenager was going to be like.

I like Slappy Squirrel more now as an adult then I did as a kid. I get so many more of her references now.

I watched "Animaniacs" and saw the parody Goodfeathers years before I actually watched the movie "Goodfellas."

I loved that routine well before I knew all the bands/groups she was referencing.

Katie Kaboom is fantastic for the right kind of person. My older brother and I have a large age difference (he's 8 years older than I am). He was super-emotational as a teenager, and he'd go (from my perspective as a 7-9 year old) from fine to yelling and angry in almost nothing flat. Katie Kaboom resonated with me.

The V stands for Very. So then the last three letters are for Very Elite Robot.

I agree with you. To take it one step further, I'll bet they had a ton of rehearsal. Instead of rehearsing the script, they were figuring out the dialogue. My guess is that during rehearsals they worked out what they were going to do, so by the time the cameras rolled, the cast and crew knew pretty much what they were

My theory is that in a room, people are coming up with these crazy ideas on purpose and then betting to see which one is announced. I hate the alternative, which is that the people who are pitching these shows think these are actually good ideas for a series.

Belker, is that you?

Henry trains Eliza so that she can pass in the world of wealthy, but also in the world of the lower class, because he never knows what their latest case will require. I'm picturing a male/female crimesolvers drama.
Here's the question: Do we go for gritty, or do we make it more light-drama to pick up the "Castle"

Yes! There are so many bad ideas that never make it out of development. It's fun to come here, read about them, and mock them.

It's stages. Stage 1 is outrage. Stage 2 is parody/mocking. Some people skip stage 1 and go right to stage 2.

I would totally buy that.

Yes! They solve crimes that adults can't. It's like "Mod Squad" or "21 Jump Street."

Network Executive: I like it, but she needs a sidekick, someone she can talk to.

I saw "Castle" and thought it was an update of "Remington Steele." I really liked "Castle," until they made it dark and deal with dark conspiracies and season long story-arcs.

That was my thought too.

The AV Club reports on tons of horrible ideas that are in development, but never actually make it out of development, like the gritty reboot of Little Women. A few years ago the AV Club reported there were about five different Robin Hood projects in development, but not one of them was actually made into a movie or a

That was my exact thought. How do homeless people or people living in poverty get access to this food?
