That’s what I thought, but I’m also really bad at math so I second guessed myself for a minute or two. Millennials start in 1980 or 1983.

You are right. It is possible. That’s what happened on “Mad Men” Sally and Bobby are Baby Boomers, but Gene may be the start of Gen-X.

I think you’re talking about that unnamed cohort/subset that was born between 1976 and 1983. It’s not enough time to be a coherent generation, but it has significant differences from Gen-X and Millennials. I thought Gen-Y was sort of a placeholder name for the generation after Gen-X. To put it another way, Gen-Y and

I think the smarter has something to do with why she was interested in Logan and not as interested in Tristan. Also, in college a lot of people talk about high school, because it’s a topic that comes up. People would hear about Rory going to Chilton and make would make certain assumptions about her based on that.

I agree with you about Emily, Madeline, and Louise, but I’m not sure I agree with you about Paris. Paris always struck me as a poor little rich girl. I always got the feeling her parents kind of ignored her and that she was such an overachiever because she was trying to get them to notice her and pay attention to her.

Same here. In addition to special features, much of what I want to watch on DVD from Netflix is not part of their streaming library.

You are correct for all of the reasons you listed. Disney has a case.

Liked for the WKRP reference. It’s a classic.

I would guess that a shorter Twitter Handle would allow her name to take up fewer characters so she would have more characters to use in her actual tweet.

It’s always nice to meet one of the other 12 people who actually enjoyed the series.

Me too. I also miss Newsroom.

During the new mini-series, I wish they had spent less time with “Stars Hollow: The Musical” and the musical montage that plays during the Life and Death Brigade’s night out to give more time to Lane. Also, I agree with you about the parallel to Lorelai. Lorelai even tries to patch things up between Lane and Mrs. Kim,

I’ve always liked Lane’s comment about “that’s what took.” She ignored what her mother said about food, rock music, and a bunch of other stuff but for some reason, no sex before marriage was the one thing that stuck, and she didn’t even realize that it mattered to her until the heat of the moment.

You did not imagine this series. I am totally blanking on the name but I remember showing episodes in Sunday school when I had to sub last minute.

I think the original has aged incredibly well. Aside from a bit of 1990s fashion, the storyline holds up pretty well, and the special effects are not that dated at all. The witches are played as camp. They are over the top.

Spend real money on a proper sequel. Is Max old enough to have kids yet without having been a teenage father? If not, wait a few years until he is and do a sequel about the next generation. A straight up remake is stupid.

Cell phones and especially Uber would totally kill this movie, on the other hand, the gentrification of SoHo in New York City also kills this movie..

Dropped and it broke would work well in an action movie with lots of chases and people jumping, climbing and falling. It also works in a slapstick comedy too.

That works for me. This works especially well for horror movies that take place in remote areas with little to no cell phone reception.

I would be okay with checking in with Logan and the LADB to see what happened, but they got way more screen time than they should have. I would have been pleased if LADB’s time had been cut in half and the rest of it was given over to Lane.
