I would agree with that. The parents of the LADB brigade may have slightly cut down on charitable giving or took slightly shorter vacations, but not things that an outsider or someone really struggling would notice.

I agree about Rory rebelling against her mother. I think you’re reading too much into the cabfare. The first time it happens when she’s in high school she was upset, and not thinking clearly. Also, Rory knows her grandparents can afford the cabfare. It’s not like she’s driven across the state to a home of a struggling…
Like much in the revival, it was good, but went on too long. I don’t mind catching up with Logan and his LADB buddies, but I would have cut quite a bit from that segment.
Because Lorelai tried to keep Rory away from the world of wealth, I think there was a natural interest in it. However her grandparents’ Christmas parties were probably not that interesting to a young Rory, and she did not get along or fit in with her classmates at Chilton. Yale is the first time she really gets to see…
Exactly. This does a fantastic job of summing up the business model of premium cable.
HBO and Showtime have a business model that is very similar to Netflix, and they’ve used/released Nielsen ratings, so I think there’s more going on than just business model. In this day and age, hit show can mean successful with critics, successful with the general viewing audience, or both.
Your idea doesn’t sound awful/awesomely bad enough to be a joke. It actually could be pretty good idea for a series.
The music in the movie is not hip-hop. I was actually really impressed with the score.
That’s sort of my question. I do not understand the different treatment being given to these two different productions in different stages of development/pre-production. Is there an alternate funding source for “The Romanoffs” but the Mafia show does not have another funding source?
He may not give them back but ifhis legal fees are high enough, he may have to sell the rights in order to obtain the funds he needs. Michael Jackson sold part of his share of the Beatles catalogue to Sony to raise some money.
My introduction to Supermarket Sweeps was either the “Laverne and Shirley” episode or the Toys R Us Super Toy Run. I think I may have been watching an ad for it or the actual show and my mom walking by and saying “Oh, it’s Supermarket Sweeps at a toy store.”
Reruns and syndication exist, so I am going to go with yes. At some point, they have probably seen an episode or two.
That and “Friends” among other shows. Do people forget that reruns and syndication are a thing that exists?
I love your username, and the picture is adorable.
That falls under my adrenaline rush/extreme circumstances.
My personal fan theory is that a non-force user can only use them in extreme circumstances, like during a major adrenaline rush.
I hope they give her a proper hero’s death and let her go out in style, even if it happens off screen and we only hear about it.
Me too. My guess is that Logan Echols and Veronica Mars would think they are stupid, but for different reasons.
This is from memory (all mistakes are mine)
I miss old school sing along theme songs.
