Maybe they thought parents, older siblings, or a babysitter were watching with the kids.

I don't think of late night when I think of ITT Tech ads. I think of them as advertising during the day time. I remember seeing the ads when I was home sick from school and watching TV.

Agreed.

Upvoted because the place sounds fantastic.

Isn't that pretty much the Sunday edition? I think the Science section (if it's still a seperate section) is published on Tuesday or Thursday. "Political awfulness" is the front section and Sunday Review.

As long as the dance in the ballroom is a shot for shot recreation of the 1991 version, I will be extremely happy. They can change or add just about anything else that want, but that scene is almost sacred.

That explanation works for me, and is pretty close to my personal view.

I'm sure there's plenty of empty warehouses and factories that could be made to look like a prison.

I like the idea of the women being on thier own and caring about them because they're an amazing group of cons/criminals, not because the lead is Danny Ocean's sister. I want to care about them for who they are and what they do, not because of who they're related to. I

There's a difference between a straight-up remake, like "Ocean's 11," "True Grit," "Thomas Crown Affair," and a similiar movie with only a vague connection to the original source.

I love the idea of a heist movie with an all female team. I don't like the idea that they had to tie it to Ocean's 11. These are all high-profile big name actresses. You would think they would have been able to sell the movie based on the talent/name recognition of those involved, and not need to tie it to an existing

I see it as a good thing. It takes 11 men to accomplish the job, but women can do something similiar with only 8. It's not gender inequality, it's total girl power!.

Stewart is a big fan. It's something he watches with his kids. I'll bet both were equally excited about this.

With the music issues they had to deal with, fans are lucky it got released on DVD. I wouldn't hold out for streaming.

Liked/Upvoted for wanting Queen Latifah to play Maybelle. I thought she was excellent in the role in the movie.

I agree that try-outs are unlikely. Maybe everyone needs more time to rehearse before the live show.

"Shoop-de do wop" sounds like part of "Nicest Kids in Town," which wasn't really a ballad.

I know the joke, but they're not in the bar for that long. It makes sense that they'd only hear two songs. It's not like they spend all aftertoon in the bar. Why do people think those are the only two songs the band knows?

He's also lying and bragging. Obi-Wan knows what's going on in the scene. Thanks to whichever wonderful user explained this to me on another topic. I love the users/comments section of this site.
