It’s just more of ASP accidentally hovering around a good, sharp idea and failing to identify/develop it. Season 6 should have been about how Rory’s success involved embracing the life that Lorelai rejected, but that’s never addressed outside of some Logan barbs that we’re meant to interpret as false. The “grammar” of

Rory has had other jobs. Lorelei is clearly excited about her having a job interview in her field—getting dressed up, riding the train to another city, and preparing to impress someone in a field she cares deeply about. I don’t get how that’s eye-roll worthy at all.

I love these two episodes. After the end of “I am Kayak, Hear Me Roar” it’s nice to see Emily and Lorelai growing closer again and then “Hay Bale Maze” finally has Luke and Lorelai use their words.

Rory’s job search mini-arc was weird all around. Lorelai fawned over Rory’s very first job interview, even though Rory was 22 and even though Lorelai was working in her own chosen industry at the age of 16. Okay, I could maybe understand Lorelai just being proud of her Yale daughter getting a prestigious interview,

This should be helpful when you are hungry on a limited budget.

I live out of hotels 5 days a week 40 weeks a year and my expense account doesn’t allow for fancy restaurants everyday...sometimes you want something quick and cheap and knowing the calories helps guide ones choices.

Yea, it hasn’t stopped me from eating crap completely but it’s definitely given me pause. I don’t really eat fries or soda as it is, but for instance an 8 count nugget at Chick Fil A has something like 60 fewer calories than a grilled sandwich because it doesn’t have bread.

Here in California the fast food wall menus have been posting calories for quite some time. However it seems the establishments don’t want people to focus on this information so they are making the menus more cluttered and confusing.

I mean, how accurate can these things be? I guess these places are pretty standardized, but I feel like half the time some pimple-faced teenager swabs an actual gallon of mayo on a sandwich, and other times it is a thin layer.

I have to admit, I’m getting a little excited for it. That shot of Lando casually tossing Han his Blastech looks hella pimp, at least.

Never tell me the odds.

It’s right next to the one that’s based on Trump’s hair: “WTF Orange”.

I don’t think “Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tale” is a dig at Huckabee-Sanders’ appearance so much as at her role as a willingly propping up a regressive administration through propaganda re-education? (Especially with the Pence line to follow-up.)

If Cos had just had the common courtesy to drop dead a few months ago, the public opinion would slowly come around to, “Well, he was never CONVICTED.”, and then within a year we could have all been enjoying Rudy’s antics with Bud and Fat Peter once again, free of any guilt.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Cosby is back on Bounce in a year or two. I don’t even think they have to pay licensing rights.

The one thing that sucks about all this, are the innocent cast members of old Cosby show who will be losing a lot of residuals off this show.

I don’t think they’ll be watchable for many years, but maybe in time they can fall into that awkward “separate the art from the artist” zone.

Y’know, I totally agree with the reasoning behind everyone pulling it, but I do think it’s a shame that the Cosby Show is basically never gonna be seen again outside of some DVD collections. It was legitimately funny.

Yup. Give it a couple of years and they’ll be back on. 7th Heaven was pulled and then about two years later, it showed back up on Uplift.

Enh. I disagree, I've always loved the film, and I went to high school in the early 2010s. Yes, these stereotypes aren't nearly as present as they once (maybe) were, but that's not really what The Breakfast Club's about at its core. It's mainly about the loneliness and insecurity that teenagers face due to the fact
