PC games actually been like 10 to 20 bucks cheaper since the 90s. it wasn't until late this generation that PC games started being the same price as their console counterparts(60 bucks). every now and again though you'll see some PC games that still follow the old 10 to 20 dollars cheaper thing(X-Com, Deadpool)

you know what really blows my mind? i almost think that more than anything Jimmy Fallon was the one that sent Microsoft over the edge to revert the policies back. just how nonchalantly he sort of blew off "the other console doesnt let you play used games" and then MS announcing the next day.

yeah but look at this generation. see how much Microsoft cares about its first party titles by the end as opposed to Sony who will have big titles coming even after the PS4 is out. their end of life attitude has been so terrible so far that I feel like it will repeat itself next gen where we'll see multiple sequels…

to be fair they DIDNT say they did. but they're just saying thats what the PS4 would be doing. whether or not microsoft does end up doing what is rumored is yet to be seen but that doesn't change the fact that sony will not.
