The problem is not that he is writing and directing this movie. The problem is not his characters, or that they are being told from his point of view. The problem is that he is literally calling this movie "20th Century Women" and selling it as a super progressive portrayal of woman when, really, it's a movie about him

Ah yes, because commenting on the actual behaviour of some straight men is equivalent to the unsubstantiated and bigoted depiction of all gay men as pedophiles.

it's hard to see how you're "all for diversity" when your main concern is hurt male feelings :/

*bangs head repeatedly against wall*

can we also talk about how the new Ali Baba movie is going to be about a British guy:

From his description it sounds like a movie about a man disguised as a movie about women: the important thing about these women is what they taught HIM.

Finally someone shredding light on that mysterious and unknowable species, women! I have the working title. Women: What Are This?

Calling something a first world problem is wrong because:

"what men are, what women are"..does not sound very progressive. more like how women initiate boys/men into the one and only real manhood, presumably by some stereotypical madonna/whore figures (loving mom vs. tough ass bitch seductress). Also "unknowable women", the thousand times reiterated BS that women are oh so

Agreed. I hate it when people confuse what is and isn't a first world problem. "My puppy is yappy when I'm playing video games" is a first world problem. "My neighbor killed my dog" is a problem.

I went to an all women's college. Dorms were inhabited by women. But because we don't live in a vacuum, on each floor of the dorm, there needed to be a bathroom available to both genders to accommodate boyfriends, brothers, fathers, friends. So one bathroom per floor got to essentially be gender-less.

It's not just about safety. It's about comfort. Frankly I very much like being free from even the most minor kinds of sexual comments or 'catcalling' whilst I'm going for a piss. Yes, I know most men wouldn't do this, but enough catcall or come-on to women on the street that a significant proportion of these men

>article about safety concerns for gender non-conforming folk, trans women, non-binary folks, butch cis women, trans men, etc.

Guess what: there are already piss covered seats in women's restrooms. Let me assure you of this. Those ladyfolk are called hoverers, and UGH.

...Yeah, that makes no sense. Both bathrooms should be gender-neutral, in that case.

There's a remote part of my work building where the majority of people that work in that area are men, and there's one woman. There are two bathrooms in that area, both single occupancy and for some reason, each with a designated gender. We guys tend to use the women's when the men's is occupied, and recently the

Getting attacked in the bathroom due to your gender status is not a first-world problem. It's a problem.

yes, please western person tell me that the problems of my family in iran are so much more important because I am really sure you can compare, and because I am sure that in the oh so poor third world countries we only care about surviving and such things as gender equality and representation do not matter for us nor

The Razer still is pretty awesome, but I still prefer the Madcatz TE2. I got the Killer instinct version and created my own art template and swapped the buttons out to make it more personalized for me.
