Going to lean in here and make note to anyone reading that the biggest criticism of this game is an entirely subjective one.

The point that most folks are missing that many (and I’d argue most) people do pay to play. For anyone who is a daily player of Genshin Impact over the past year, you hands down pay at least $5.00 per month for the Welkin pass, otherwise you are shorting yourself a good deal of primogems each month, especially

Exactly. There is a really, really good actual Mexican restaurant more or less across the street from the KFC/Taco Bell about 5 minutes from my house. But sometimes I choose Taco Bell. Sometimes it scratches an itch, objective quality aside.

taco bell is fucking delicious and any suggestions to the contrary is heresy. i salute you, brother zack.

‘”Seriously, it all feels so slow.”’

TecmoBowl.org does yearly roster updates to Tecmo Super Bowl.
Looks like 2022 dropped a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately,  the only good basketball games are the old ones, and you have to emulate them. No one, not even indies, want to make a good basketball game anymore. I have to suppose there’s no good way to make an indie basketball game without screwing up first.

“Note that I played the game on PC, which is saddled with last-gen tech”

I mean I agree with the sentiment and healers can have a place in the game.

But characters stats still get tweaked post-beta, anyway. This isn’t remotely unusual.

I think some people may have trouble understanding where the players are coming from here, but I’ve worked on gatcha games before and know that setting expectations correctly is quite literally a legally contentious matter.

Fine. Leave me behind. I have a whole IKEA bookcase full of PS3 and PS4 I’ve yet to play. Also the PS5 needs to get smaller. Maybe I just skip the 5 and wait for the 6.

thank god they explained some of that in the article.  you should read it.

This is a great point. And, we do get to see the depth of the VA’s ability to successfully portray Ei in the story quest, but it would be nice if the playable version of Raiden Shogun also had more of those softer moments.

Hmmm, seems like a matter of opinion and like you said, nitpicking. the EN voice acting is a bit mixed in terms of performances, but mostly I think it’s quite good. The JP voice acting is absolutely amazing, but I do still play it in English. I haven’t really tried the CN vocalization, so I can’t say, but it’s really

Yeah, I can see where the author of the article is coming from on a lot of the discussion here, except when it comes to Zhongli as he still strikes me as the patient, almost absent-minded, fatherly figure of the game.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I didn’t get that aggressive vibe from English Zhongli at all.  He has always sounded very calm and patient to me in English.

Now playing

Noooooo, watch this delightful review of the classic game, Little Nemo: The Dream Master instead!

But I don’t think the things you called out are “problems”. The Matrix is a great action movie that looks like nothing else at the time and does a great job of blending some goofy-ass action movie tropes with seriously great HK-style action and some compelling, engaging subtext. All that’s good stuff.

Hell, I’m gonna
