I think you’re doing the problem a disservice by calling it a supply vs demand issue. Bots are primarily a supply chain issue, a way of creating an artificial obstruction that sucks money out of the system with no value added (short of redirecting consumer goods back towards the richest customers, if that’s your thing)

I mean there isn’t any old game done successfully that hasn’t been iterated on, really. It’s just a matter of scale. OoT was at the absolute dawn of 3D gaming and, per what I was trying to say, revisiting it comes with more drawbacks than other retro titles you might revisit for the flavor. I didn’t go back to the

For what it’s worth, I agree with you that it’s not particularly a must play at this point. Transformative for it’s time but limited by its tech and old design. It’s a great game but there is a lot of competition for great nowadays, and there’s nothing particularly unique about the moveset or gameplay in the title. I

I agree that Mihoyo’s storytelling, as in the article’s examples, can be absolutely fantastic. I still think the story of Azhdaha is phenomenal, even though most of it was told via exposition, the parallels to elder care and what we do with our close relations as they age and eventually begin to lose elements of their

Oh yeah, there was software we’d use to UNDERCLOCK our processor to make old games playable.

It’s not just access, it’s also overpriced bundles. Newegg bundles their packages with at least one item that runs anywhere between $50-$150 higher than market prices. Everyone’s tossing in PS+ memberships that sell for $30 less on the open market. It’s horrific how retailer power is starting to get abused, you can’t

This pretty much nails it. They have settled for mediocrity in so many ways when it comes to the gameplay and for so long that it still feels like a game made in 2001. I just don’t get it. There are a lot of spinoffs that have at least tried to do interesting things, even if most of them peak at B quality at highest,

She increased her net worth by the $110k via tax law, presuming she paid market value for the station, plus whatever she can make in interest. She paid $1M down and took the rest as a liability.

I am pretty sure she was over $1M/year on Twitch just from subs in the last leak, ignoring multiple other major sources of revenue for her.

Heck I’ll still mention the Star Wars prequels anyway. Watched Episode III about a month or two ago again because my brain was telling me that was “the good one” and my goodness. 108 wipe transitions in 140 minutes. Characters have time to say one thing, then on to the next. Sometimes action is literally cut through

Mechwarrior is still great! Definitely is an older community though haha

While the style is obviously similar, I honestly did not see a ton of reused assets in the trailer. Honestly I was more noticing how his skills had gotten much better since Stardew. Sure his “swinging a sword” animation is similar but that’s not exactly inexplicable.

I believe Limited Run transitioned to this model and I am very appreciative. It makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE than what we have today.

Horrible pricing model. You don’t bundle EXPANSION DLC into subscriptions and act like it is a deal. I love everything about Nintendo’s products but man do I feel like their business division has gone downright hostile to the consumer lately, whether it’s stock shortages, pricing decisions, or whatever this thing is

Childe is basically evil Goku at this point (though his character story had some high points), but I love the way Zhongli putters around town and just gets into random debates about history all the time without ever asserting his identity. Even his obsession with contracts (which are his commitments which have blocked

As others have said, it’s not just “is this system more powerful” but also comes down to unique system traits. The Saturn in some cases is harder to emulate with good performance than the Dreamcast because of some really tricky architecture.

Yep, they’re honestly more fun than the regular strips and I don’t mean that as a knock on the regular strips. She has a real knack for portraying everydays in an entertaining way.

This is something that was mildly frustrating in Summoner’s War but never felt like an enormous impediment. To some extent, that was the risk of autoplay, and you had to make tradeoffs between stability and speed. But while it was infuriating to look over and see the CPU use the wrong move and losing a run, it was

This has got to be in the Top 3 worst-managed games post-release by this point, right?

As long as they keep the pachinko rights!
