I’m an ardent Wii U defender in terms of the system functionality and I think it is tragic that Nintendo did not use its asymmetric capabilities better. Nintendoland still has some remarkably unique experiences.

To be fair to Blizzard, in this case there was already a thriving independent server running the equivalent of WoW Classic. They just took it over and started charging for it. It probably wasn’t on their long-range plan.
Yeah this is a bit of a non-starter. There’s probably a ton of modular code they re-use, and releasing the source code opens them up to all kinds of potential future malware/exploits.
I mean, it's a dog though. Are we advocating for national dog health insurance now too?
Yeah I agree, this is a game where I excused it. But NBA2K going from 60GB (which is already pretty dang high) to 120GB in five years when it is essentially the same game is insane.
It is sooooooooooooooooooo refreshing to see devs still concerned with optimizing storage space. Some game franchises and devs have allowed themselves to spiral uncontrollably on that front.
No Man's Sky is fantastic. It's not really my kind of game and I still dropped 50-60 hours on it. Anyone who is looking for that kind of game should start there.
This game is such a tremendous disappointment. You think by now we’d at least have a tell-all book or two, the game is into its third presidential administration.
Sealed is the only product really spiking. Unsealed product still has value though, definitely don’t throw them away! I’m always torn between buying more and selling the whole collection off haha.
Heck sealed product for the 25-year-old Star Wars Decipher CCG that shut down down in 2000ish has doubled in price on eBay over the last 3 months. Some video games have too. I put up an old N64 game usually worth $50 and I unwittingly benefited from a 2-week surge pushing it to 100.
I did the same thing, though fortunately I only dumped about 20 percent of my collection. That said I've easily dropped another 20 percent since, if not more. I'm trending out of it haha, tired of maintaining a CRT setup.
Snow Bros was legit! Rented it with my brothers a few times, it was a great 2P game.
If you saw the way the pandemic has affected game prices...stuff is up 50-300% over the last year alone. It’s been something to watch.
I actually like the contrast. Of course high-schoolers are going to play up the humor when it’s actually world-altering, it wouldn’t be cool to take it seriously.
Playing games with dailies is a real struggle. So much of that element is terrible for mental health.
I have not played one with voices yet, but yes, there is a certain laziness about it when they were so good at doing scenes without them.
Yeah I’m unclear on the exact role breakdown, the Wikipedia says Tallarico was one of the main performers but I’m sure there was some collaboration on it. Great music regardless.
Alright I went and checked to clarify, I did have the soundtrack but the one I got autographed was the Video Games Live concert CD because Tallarico and one of the composers for AR were there and I grabbed the CD. Tallarico runs the show so I didn’t realize the second guy would be there, but unfortunately I can’t…
Took awhile to get to a Klonoa! I only played 2, but it was pretty great.
Holy crap someone else said Advent Rising. DANG THAT GAME WAS GOOD WHEN IT WORKED. Ugh what could have been.
