Sure it does. It has a coherent aesthetic and design that looks great in motion, especially with SSAO enabled, essentially rendering the game in 4K or higher. Perhaps you shouldn’t judge the look of the game from poor screenshots of a user-made mod that doesn’t even render the character assets at their maximum quality?

Go stand in Tanaan Jungle or Shadowmoon Valley and tell me it’s “ugly”, instead of looking at someone’s interface mod that doesn’t even load high resolution assets.

Erm, the game just had a radical graphics refresh with Warlords, every race received new player models and whatnot... And the engine/world has had graphics overhauls in prior expansions. I don’t think you remember what vanilla WoW looked like.
