I guess in these times, an asshole going public like this to make money off of it would make sense but...I still think there's something unseemly about the whole thing.

He is NOT retired. That implies he did 20 years of service - he did 16 before he was kicked off his SEAL team for going public and subsequently left the Navy. He is a veteran but not a retiree.

I didn't realize the obligation to keep military secrets secret ended when you left the military. Not to mention their code not to seek recognition for their actions. But hey, thanks for his service, and if he wants to live the rest of his life looking over his shoulder, that's his issue.

I'd suggest he talk to the Chicago Bears next, but he doesn't seem like the guy to deliver the message that they need to stop talking and just do their jobs.

The only problem I see with this is that MLB somehow called 'dibs' on Bosch. This then caused the Feds to alter their investigation. Remember that MLB does not have jurisdictional authority to investigate crimes, the Feds do. So, if MLB interfered with this and it all fell apart, this "important public policy goal"…
