Because I was asked to lie to a kid who wanted a CPO E-Class and qualified for it but was pushed on an identically priced CPO C-Class that he didn’t want. Also because I pulled a new GL63 from the inventory garage to cash buyers and the sale went to veteran salesman because he “needed” the sale.

I remember first laying eyes on an R33 Sedan in Jamaica right after getting my license; that was one of the few cars I ever wanted to steal. The prospect of ending up in a Jamaican jail was deterrent enough though.

In 2004, fresh out of high school, my local dealer had a Phoenix Yellow ITR and a bunch RSX Type-Ses for sale. I chose the DC5 instead of the DC2... Regret is me.

An ex had a 2004 Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet. The car looked fine but it drove sloppier than post-stroke handwriting. It was a FWD, non-Quattro car with a CVT that was as tight as a first grader’s shoe laces. It being a cross between an A4 and an A6 meant that parts were a pain to come across or come across cheaply. I hope

My ‘02 GTI was as soft as butter when I first got it. As things wore down I replaced them with aftermarket components. The biggest difference came after replacing the butter soft suspension and engine bushings with something that transmitted genuine feedback. The car felt ALIVE.

Oh boy, I can’t count a single time that I’ve waited in line at that interchange. Traffic is usually caused by an asshat too scared or too uninformed to merge...

This car will undoubtedly drive like a larger C-Class and not like a sportier E-Class. Mercedes has long based its E-Class coupe on the C-Class platform.

SHO as if it were”show.”

May this guy have to pluck nose hairs everyday before he starts the car I suggest; but he should buy a WRX.

The current QX60 aka the old JX35 uses a CVT....

Frothy oil = them sounding like marbles dropping in the toilet...

Agreed. Boring and crap would be OK with good enough reliability; look at Toyota. Friends, family, and coworkers who I’ve recommend not to by QR25DE-equipped cars always come back with a sad face. 4 people in my family have had crazy top-end chatter develop from their Altimas that lead to engine failure, CVT equipped

I agree so damn much with your comment. My current car is an Infiniti G37 that I bought in 2011; it’s the least confidence-inspring car I’ve ever owned. My daily driver before this was a 2002 GTI with considerable aftermarket performance upgrades, and towards the end of our relationship it left me stranded frequently.

As of now we have not been informed of a fix or have been contacted with a follow-up. As per the NHSTA website, Fiat-Chrysler hasn’t told the government anything yet either.

Our Jeep GC SRT has this asinine shifter, we’ve been offered no recall yet. On more than one occasion the thing, which I’ve shifted into park countless times, magically isn’t in park when I look back and check. Imagine how this might fatally not provide enough feedback to an actor who probably didn’t spend much time

My cousin and I built an EF Hatchback together; he started the build and we finished it together. It had a B20 block and a P72 head on it. We capped it off with a mild turbo kit and some Spoon Sw-388 knockoffs. It was pretty.

This car makes me want to marry a wealthy, progressive, and educated European woman. I strongly believe she will want one in the family.

This goddamned thing, a first generation Nissan Rogue. An ex had one; the only reason it was worth driving was its fuel economy. Dead steering, the worst CVT ever made, I called it the cuntmobile.

Came here to post this; I can leave satisfied.
