Fighting Spider Man, fighting Black Panther, fighting Squirrel Girl, I just want Kraven to make it to the big screen. One of those villains that need to make the jump to live action so Marvel can pick up their villain game when it comes to movie villains.

Like a middle finger fired at whate5was bothering you.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering how men can claim to be the smartest, most intelligent, and rational beings on the planet, while simultaneously claiming to be the most clueless. This cluelessness only seems to magically appear when assessing their shirty behavior, though.

For some of us on the autism spectrum it’s really not as simple as you make it out. There are things (like how far to stand from someone or looking someone in the eyes when speaking to them) that we have to consciously think about and train ourselves to do because ‘reading’ body language does not come naturally.

Yup, you’re totally right. You need to do it the right way. Those aren’t loans for white people...they’re ‘rural loans.’ Those aren’t grants for white people...they’re ‘farm subsidies.’

Rotten apple theory is intellectual lazyness and doesn’t apply here. Police in the US have a long and storied history of corruption that basically goes back to the beginning of US policing. Read up on TRs efforts to reform the NYPD sometime, it’s interesting.

And yet, the people who claim that it’s “just a few bad apples” aren’t actually saying that they should be removed, are they? They’re just saying “Oh don’t worry about those few bad apples”. That’s my point.

Anybody who says “a few bad apples” is actually admitting the fact that the whole bunch is spoiled. Because that’s how the saying goes. Not just “A few bad apples...” and leave it at that. It’s “A few bad apples spoils the bunch.”

The books beat the clipboard jockey to it. I read them. Don’t get why everyone made such a big deal out of them.

The book has a neat idea, but it’s not written very well, nor is it all that intellectual. It read like a flatfooted YA novel to me.

Yes. This. A thousand stars for this.

It’s relevant because every fucking time there’s a story here about abusive men there’s someone like you coming along to wring their hands about what a terrible impact this will have on the perpetrators. It’s nothing new (we went through this when conventions started getting called on piss-weak responses to harassment

This exactly. Look, I would never fault a woman for saying, “I really, really don’t want this accusation against my loved one/friend/colleague to be true.” It’s hard to find out someone you care about, trust, and esteem probably did something terrible. It makes you question your entire relationship with that person

Some of those kids are also assholes.

Fant4stic had Michael B. Jordan.

You have to bring that up over breakfast?

In New York state, a 2015 executive order by Governor Andrew Cuomo requires AG Schneiderman to investigate and criminally prosecute any case in which a police officer kills an unarmed civilian.

And people wonder why people sometimes take 30+ years to report assault from when they were children. This kid can’t even get away with reporting something that indisputably happened.

You really need to eat my ass.

My sister likes to add mini marshmallows and salted peanuts to ‘em.
