I’m old...

Well, despite folks apparently hating it - I’m thoroughly enjoying Crackdown 3 and will keep on playin’ this weekend for sure (singly player only, I’m not much for multiplayer anything). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, perfect, I can finally play Seaman comfortably.

I loved 2's story best as well!

Monster Hunter is CAPCOM going ‘Hey, we need our own Phantasy Star Online game’.

Thanks again for the Fire though. Nice gift.

One thing I would love is if they made progression actually mean something (i.e. like hitting level 200 in PSO), rather than tying character progression to DLC. Part of the reason I’m so burnt with Destiny and traditional “service” games is that all the progress made in previous expansions seems like it’s rendered

BioWare has been adamant that all content will be free. They’ve said they won’t divide the player base by making paid DLC that is required for progression. All content will be open to all players. That doesn’t mean that the next update won’t introduce new “gear levels” though. I’m pretty sure they will. That’s similar

guild wars adds content but doesn’t change level cap, i think that’s a good way to do it.

You can apparently move faster in the Launch version. Seems they disabled sprinting in FT for “Streaming Issues”.

BioWare confirmed that all future story and content extensions will be free and available to anybody who owns the base game (it’s best not to split the player base that way). The only things that will potentially be locked behind a pay wall are new Javelins and cosmetics - and even those will be available for an

You had me at “PSO”.

Wheezy mentions this further down, but I agree with him: progression in Destiny endgame is this cliff that drops off abruptly and is intended to keep players in the endgame to grind toward the “correct” levels of their endgame multiplayer content. It’s not really my thing, anymore. I feel like I spend every week

I had a blast when I finally got to use a Storm on Saturday night. I was level 15 and I finally got to pick my second Javelin.

Well, and my other issue with Destiny is that progression at first is too quick, and then when you hit the soft cap it doesn’t just slow down, it almost stops entirely. Kinda bugs me. I shouldn’t have to wait a week to get a reward from something that moves my power up like .5. Slow down base leveling and power hikes,

They said on twitter that sprinting in the city hub was disable in the demo because of streaming issue in the demo but is fixed in the official release.

They definitely need a sprint/run option for the fort

Wife and I really enjoyed it. Her face when she flew for the first time... grinning ear to ear.
