Mine was cancelled, pre-ordered it as soon as it was on the site. A few days later I went with a friend wo wasn’t able to get theirs online and pre-ordered instore, when most stores denied having instore pre-orders. This is definitely not the first or the last time Gamestop has and will do this. People should just

One of the things about PSO BB on Schthack that has always bugged me was that a while ago it totally disappeared. The totally online nature of it really worries me. I love how crisp everything looks compared to the Gamecube (since I have to convert from analog composite video to HDMI), but losing all access to it

For God's sake, if Destiny 2 can have soccer, then surely Derpstiny: Iron Man can has soccer.

We’ve talked a lot about PSO in the past, so I wanted to let you now I recently purchased a GCN and copy of PSO so I can play again.  I was playing on Schthack, but I didn’t like that all the quests and everything was exposed immediately.  I’m not sure why.  It’s fun and I’ll probably play it again, but GCN is bae.

Maybe I’m missing something or thinking of this the wrong way but it seems a little weird to me that, supposedly, just from the time the Alpha was, they were able to implement a whole area that lets you see other players and emotes from probably near nothing?

It’s getting near conspiracy theorist in this but what if

Anyone with a minimal knowledge of Smash’ history knew that Ultimate was going to sell like hotcakes. The people that laughed at what you said simply had no clue.

You mean mostly the same fucking games that were on the Wii U that people were too stupid to buy for whatever fucking reason?

Thanks for coming on the podcast, Stephen! Glad I could geek out with another Pikmin fan. I truly hope the series returns within the next year or so. And I hope everyone checks out Challenger Approaching. I’ve had a great time researching each episode and talking to all my special guests.

He needs to unseal his J-Sword

Tell me about it. This was kind of a life saver in one of my darkest periods (failing school, no job, debt to my ears, chronic illness, shoot me).

Phantasy star online, is truly one of the most beautiful things any game company has ever created. There’s really nothing else like it.

it really is. its just such a nice, peaceful vibe. and the more direct play makes it feel more fun than the sims. but this games series helped big time when i had a really unpleasant layoff, its good to see how much it affects others.

I’d prefer the 3DS to have a successor that maintains the dual screens over just considering the Switch a successor myself. That touch screen being a custom UI for most games solved one of the biggest issues of mobile gaming, the screen getting cluttered with UI.

Huawei became a security risk as soon as its phones outpaced a particular American and Korean phone maker?

Spectacularly lucky timing for them.

Yeah it’s kinda similar, like Tera or Blade and Soul. Seems to be the current norm for Korean MMOs. It’s a shame that all these games are just copying that style instead of going further with it. I long for the day when we get an mmo with Dark Souls style combat.

I played a bit of this game trying to scratch the same itch.

Unless they’ve changed it - it is very PVP centric, and not many pve elements.  To my knowledge there is really no PVE end game/raids/dungeons.  I am admittedly not up to date, though.  This is based on info from the summer.  Which is about the time I decided I probably wasn’t interested.  I love me some PVP, but I

There is nothing that can scratch the PSO itch, that is not called PSO (if you find one please let me know), unfortunately. However, the combat mechanics in BDO are very fluid and more in line with ARPG than they are with something like wow. Most attacks create chains and combat is very fluid, fast and clean.

It is combo based combat. The PC version was really pay to win, I have multiple friends who spent thousands of dollars just to be competitive.

Came here to ask the same(ish) question: Is it good tho?
