can’t wait for late may!

Not really sure the 3DS is finished. It still has a HUGE library of games, with some developers still getting stuff out, and there is no clear way to play them without the hardware.
Part of the success of Xbox moving forward was the backwards compatibility, that also the PS2 had on its time.

Sure is a lot of butthurt down here in the comments for a lite version of an existing console that you can still buy with all the features you’re lamenting not being in the smaller, cheaper version. If you’re considering typing something along the lines of “I don’t get it, why wouldn’t someone just but the regular

I click on some articles now just because I know you’ve posted in them. This is one such case, and you did not disappoint.

I agree that a lack of PSO in this list is a travesty.

One of my favorites is one that has not seen a re-release and probably never will: E.G.G. Elemental Gimmick Gear.

But...where's PSO...?

counterpoint to many of these games: there is a difference between being nostalgic and being good. wont say which ones, but there are some definite stinkers here.

Quake 3 Arena and Phantasy Star Online ruined about 5 years of my life.  My 2 favorite games to go along with NFL 2k1 due to its amazing online multiplayer. I’d prefer to play any of those 3 games to any game currently live.

No PSO!? I played so much PSO! Dreamcast dial up modem ftw

Where’s Phantasy Star Online at?

This is this the real travesty right here, how the hell do you write about best games for the Dreamcast and not talk about PSO?

Two things:

Did you honestly do this and not talk about phantasy star online?

Kir and Gilliam...? It’s Emel! See you on the new servers ✊

Time to get my gunner back in the game.. I’m gonna do so many flipz-n-shit!

That was you? I thought someone saw their electric bill after returning from vacation...

I scrolled down just to look for your specific comments on the matter. I was wondering how I was screaming without opening my mouth, apparently “several blocks away” was an understatement.
