Wait, you mean ugly doesn’t sell? I thought the Camaro was so ugly it was cool to be seen in one, in an ironic way.

Not surprising since he’s a blubbering fool who’s into gold bling and vacuous trophy wives, and he has a ghetto attitude towards material wealth.
And people say cops love donuts...
And once Lutz left GM forget it all. Actually they snuck a lot past Lutz even while he was there...
The fake grill on my gen2 Chevy Volt is super annoying since they could have done something so much more creative and it would have cost less. It’s also my suspicion that one committee designed the profile and sides of the car while another committee designed the rear end. They don’t match!
No, style is not all opinion. Human brains respond to certain geometric shapes and patterns, the Golden Rectangle being the most commonly recognized one. A great designer can evoke involuntary human emotions in people, on average. Meaning, a great design may induce emotional attachment in 70% of individuals, while…
Come on now, you’re presenting your own opinions as facts. We’re in total agreement on your last sentence. My view is that the manual release is a user-centric design.
It must have been hard for her to avoid saying “uppity.”
It’s BMW-like in it’s handling and “chassis dynamics.” Unfortunately the styling fails to convey the sophistication of the Alpha platform underneath.
Yep, CUE is a disaster zone. Cadillac really need to start over instead of layering fixes onto CUE.
The truth is that Americans are too fat to comfortably fit in small cars.
Whoa, I’m diggin’ that interior. And the exterior. Too bad they’ll never sell it in America.
Love those guagues. Americans can rarely design good instrument clusters, usually they muck it up with tacky fonts and gaudy special effect graphics. Like the Camaro’s instrument cluster would be just about perfect except they ruined readability with italic fonts. Why? Do they think italics make it go faster?
I’ve never had any of those problems with Carplay.
Sadly, you speak the truth. Social media and touchscreen tech combined with a crumbling infrastructure have led new generations to care more about a car’s tech features and ride than about performance and handling. Partly it’s the fault of automakers for dragging their feet on outfitting performance cars with full i…
My guess is that it’s cheaper for them to upgrade the display if it isn’t fully integrated into the dash. It’s also cheaper to repair.
No mention of the Chevy gen2 Volt? I love the infotain GUI, it’s got a perfect balance between physical controls and touchscreen controls and of course it has Carplay so tunes, podcasts, and nav are all integrated with my car. My only extremely minor complaint is that the temp and speed limit aren’t displayed in the…
Using your criteria,
What the hell? How does someone miss that latch? Doesn’t the guy vacuum out his car or even look under the seats for stuff he’s dropped?
It does boggle the mind, I would go even further and cite this man’s brush with death as proof of a rather weak correllation between intelligence and financial success.
