Love those guagues. Americans can rarely design good instrument clusters, usually they muck it up with tacky fonts and gaudy special effect graphics. Like the Camaro’s instrument cluster would be just about perfect except they ruined readability with italic fonts. Why? Do they think italics make it go faster?

My guess is that it’s cheaper for them to upgrade the display if it isn’t fully integrated into the dash. It’s also cheaper to repair.
