How does it have 500 hp yet only make 62 mph in 5 seconds? Typically electric motors produce massive low end torque so a 500 hp EV should be even quicker than a 500 hp gasser, yet somehow this BMW is a pig?

Good riddance. They’re no more than fasion accessories for men. Aggressively ancient technology slapped together without care. They are noisy for no reason, need constant repairs, and don’t do anything particularly well compared to modern competing products.

A silky smooth inline six sounds like the perfect replacement for a rotary engine. Basically a B58 I6 turbo with Japanese reliability.

American taste exemplified: take a big ass box with lots of square windows and hard edges, slather on gaudy chrome trim and bolt on tacky oversized chrome rims. Slap on a few overwrough brand logos and price it to insult.

Actually a better example is the cell phone charging connector scam. Way back when cell phones first became popular each brand had their own charger plug format, and they each changed that format with every new hardware generation, forcing consumers to buy new charger cables at inflated prices. Where did he say he wants to nationalize it? All he said was we should regulate it to ensure universal compatibility. He specifically said Tesla should be able to charge non-Tesla owners for using it.

That Audi battery design and thermal management looks identical to that of the Chevy Bolt, which has excellent range for it’s battery size (238 miles / 60 kWh battery).

Ugh. I love that blue but it needs to lose the boy racer wing. The original spoiler lip was well-integrated with the car and I’m one of the few who actually like the new Supra’s design (except for the faux vents).

No, a FPC V8 is inherently unbalanced for second order vibrations, regardless of the firing order. That’s why Ferrari keeps the displacement around 4L for their FPC V8s.

Maybe the NA DOHC FPC V8 will power the C8 Grand Sport while a twin turbo version of the engine will power the ZO6?

Nice, but I still can’t get over the four banger. It has the power but it doesn’t rev smoothly and reminds me of a few tractors I’ve used over the years. Give me a Camaro V6 1LE over this Ecoboost, even if it has less twist it’s more fun.
