yeah, and there were dropped hints and glimpses (Hello? Hargreaves’s origins?) that only served the potential next season, but otherwise amount to nothing.
The ending was almost as unsatisfying as “American Gods” just STOPping half-way through...

hmmm, maybe that’s why I feel like I watched it all, but it wasn’t very satisfying? I read the comic years ago, but I only remembered a few things about it (the reveal of Vanya’s power and her intent to destroy, some superficial things about the characters and the settings)...

Also, I wanted very much for anything with

I’d say his knack failed him this time...YMMV, of course.

IMO, either the actor’s choices, or the director’s, made Klaus a pale collection of junkie clichés that never achieved the level of “character.”

Bear in mind that most jobs continue to exist today not because they need doing, but because socially, we haven’t figured out how to enable people to take part in society without money. Unless your labour can be measured and rewarded in money tokens so you can take part in living, we don’t know what to do with you.

that sucks. I still have, um, access to all six seasons...they were adding them slowly, at the beginning of season six, however, usually two weeks behind the broadcast debut. I got so annoyed I stopped watching until they were all available, then binged the season!

I love the fact that we can compare the two different takes on a modern Sherlock between the two series.
I also love the fact that Jonny and Benedict got to be in a play in London where they swapped roles night-after-night!

I agree! I like it enough to pay for it! I just don’t know what the general level of appreciation is (okay, sure, it’s getting a 7th season, so it’s doing something right, but then, BBT got 12, so longevity is no measure of quality or something)

“Murphy...it’s you.”

I understand...I’ve only been feeling mostly myself today, too...

Love me some ‘Literation:

Almost All Access
;)

I...subscribed to CBS All Access Canada JUST to watch Elementary (don’t judge me)...and then realized Star Trek: Discovery was All Access (in fact, the flagship title!) except in Canada (where our major Internet/Phone/TV provider, Bell Canada, scooped it up)!

The Thing (1982) is the ne plus ultra of practical and makeup effects.

Guatemala, ‘54, Jacobo Arbenz.
Assassinated by the USA because the United Fruit Co. was going to lose some profit.

As much as I’ve enjoyed most of the RE movies, I gotta say I’m bored with zombies, for now...

so, not misanthropic, then?

the current comic book series, from Dynamite Comics, even let George be the lesbian many people understood her to be.
Good writing and art, if you’re interested.

Yes, there is a difference. And it’s a fine line, usually, and it takes a smart and aware person to skate it.
Behind the scenes, he’s been a monster for years, but he wasn’t previously stupid in his comedy. Seems he’s decided to say “fuck it,” and throw in with the stupid side instead of growing and learning.
Very sad

pretty sure Kylie’s only a “paper billionaire,” which means as soon as the faith goes out of her brand, investors pull out, and her biz deflates like a soufflé in an earthquake...

Gillan’s statement reads like boilerplate interview stuff...
it’s a small breath to keep the coals warm, but it’s not a fire.
