a good example of an article that makes me want to go out and experience the subject immediately. Thanks.

it will be good to see the Son of Coul larger than life again!

that was my experience with Air Canada Rouge last month. We got on, noted the lack of screens in the seatbacks, and scrambled to turn on wifi hotspots on our phones so we could put the execrable Air Canada app on our devices (two adults, two kids) before we pulled away from the walkway.
No notice from the Flight

I’m happy to have never encountered such a beast!
Do they do this so you HAVE to buy their headphones/an adapter?

fair enough and unsurprising. I’ve used WestJet’s which was fine, and Air Canada’s which was crap.
<insert shrug emoji> things’ll improve over time? maybe? :)

I’m still bemused by people on airplanes who are using their Lightning headphones, only to discover they don’t plug into the in-flight entertainment systems...
[a lot of flights are now adopting a BYOD approach, where the passenger uses their own smartphone or tablet and an airline-specific app to connect to the

someone read “Earther” in the domain name and thought “Flat-Earther”...

I second that emotion.

Golly! Just what I was looking for: Yet Another Channel Subscription!

...and Joss Whedon is lucky a lot of people like his kinks, too! ;)

I don’t hate on Pfeiffer’s Catwoman, much. It was kinky and hot to see in the early 90s...

But that one Amazing Stories episode is perfect, in its way. Trying to take it to series was trying to get blood from a

I liked the first 2/3 of the first one, but the ending with those SEGA Genesis-level-CGI exploding heads was a crap cop-out/solution.
#2 was...there. Not much excitement, certainly not enough to cover the MillarWorld™ Misanthropy...

good point about using the other Double-O agents in a shared universe style scenario [and they could cap off every few movies with an Avengers-meets-the-Impossible-Mission-Force type movie, right!?]

Renewed discussions about casting Idris Elba as Bond remind me of Laurie Penny’s great essay, where she lays out why she thinks Bond, for ever and always, be white and male:

sure, Peter Parker/Spider-man is out of their hands now, but he’s one of the Marvel characters that’s “too big to fail play with.”
SONY should be giving wide reign (within whatever oversight Marvel has) to find their GotG or whatever in the grab-bag of second-tier-but-not-boring characters they have, and having fun

wow, the hair-pulling in the comments! ;)

I predict you’ll be wrong. :)
