I hate reading and hearing about Kanye West. He is a major doofus.

On one hand, you have the Chinese government who wants the ability to extradite residents of Hong Kong with no oversight. The same Chinese government that regularly disappears people in it’s custody, and is running literal concentration camps for ethnic minorities and political dissidents.

Man, they know. And it isn’t entirely their fault. The whole distribution system is really weird right now, laser projection is affordable by some (but not all) chains - it’s a really weird time for exhibition. The technology of filmmaking has far surpassed the availability of the tech needed to screen it properly.

Projectionist here.  The exhibition industry and the filmmaking industry are MILES apart from each other right now.  Expect more of this.
