I loved Amy responding to Jake’s hurt feelings with, “We wear each other out every night.” And Jake immediately outing that as overcompensating was perfect.

I loathed this movie from the beginning (saw it on Valentine’s Day at the drive-in with a group of friends... second movie was the dreadful Friday the 13th reboot... not a great night at the movies), but was often dismissed as just a man who hates rom-coms, which isn’t true. I just hated lousy rom-coms like this one!

I bugged them on Twitter for months about upgrading to the new “unlimited” plan, and I would constantly got vague updates like, “We’re still working on how existing users can migrate to the new plan.” Like, honestly, how hard could that possibly be? I literally wanted to give them more money and they wouldn’t let me.

D’oh! You’re right.

This seems to scream “our new corporate overlords at Disney didn’t like it,” but if they’re citing politics, that seems odd since The Americans was super-political, but of course that’s when they weren’t owned by Disney. *shrugs*

The Disney remake we need.

My wife theorizes that Cersei allowing Theon to bed her is also partially about establishing false paternity for her unborn child, that he/she will now be a child with no connection to Jaime.

I was never much of a gamer, even growing up, but I’m still holding out hope that Nintendo will fulfill its destiny and release an N64 Classic soon. I would definitely buy that, even if it probably wouldn’t have GoldenEye.

I still can’t believe they didn’t try to get Christopher Plummer to play Weasel in Deadpool 2. It would have been an absolutely perfect meta joke.

The only good movie about Jesus is The Last Temptation of Christ.

I always enjoyed this show, but I guess anyone who doesn’t subscribe to Charter/Spectrum will just never see it? Quite a choice. Also, why isn’t Hulu streaming this yet?

The names in the credits really takes this up a level.

Perhaps, but Guardians 3 not happening is Disney’s fault, not Pratt’s. LEGO Movie 2 not doing as well is also not his fault. And the “Jurassic World” franchise will continue forever. He certainly might tone it down a little in the future, but I don’t think his involvement is keeping anyone away (yet).

But I agree that it was a pretty weak response on Pratt’s part.

I’m curious if they’re going to ask any other celebrities that have attended this church (Vanessa Hudgens, Justin Bieber) about this, or if they’re only hitting Pratt on this because he’s got the movie to promote now.

The “welcoming but not affirming” stance is going to be pretty common in a lot of evangelical

Even though it would have been redundant, I think Amazing Spider-Man 2 would have worked if it had eliminated Electro all together, and focused solely on Harry Osborn becoming the Green Goblin. I do love the “mumblecore romance” stuff in it, though. Still, that opening scene is one of the worst in any modern superhero

I think Tatum has long been the right lead for this, yet I can’t help but laugh any time we get a new update on it. Never going to happen, though I suppose that now the merger’s gone through there’s a possibility they can try to link it to the MCU in some way, which could give it new life.

Illuminati Hotties are great!

Shortbread cookies: But why?
I always have to get Samoas and Thin Mints, and at least one of Do-Si-Dos or Tagalongs. I’ll take the latter if I only get one.

I always assumed Natalie quit out of embarrassment, not that she was fired. Her continued affection for the PM now seems strange.
