Wow, you almost just described Roman Civil Time. The Roman Empire actually had a varying time system such that 6:00AM and 6:00PM were set at sunrise and sunset (the length of time units would be scaled to match); they even had hydro-mechanical clocks that would automatically alter their speed to match the season.

That piece is a bit like Circus Galop, which is used to test player pianos.

It is available for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. There are also apps with the same functionality from other paint companies: Olympic, BEHR, Glidden; and photo color palette apps not from paint companies: Makan Studios, Opeso, Anders DN, VISTECH.PROJECTS, LOOMATIX; there are probably more but that was just going

It would be great in London, and why should you have to give up luxury to find a parking space?

There are a small number of places in the USA where it would make sense. In San Francisco (CA), the As'tin Cygnus or Toy'on Ick would be great (assuming it can handle the hills)...but most other places, completely pointless. Fonts are outside of the Unicode system. A text file does not specify a font, that decision is left to the display program. Some file formats have control sequences in text or another encoding to specify font, some file formats can even embed fonts so that the viewer doesn't have to have the font installed.

Reminds me of Star Wars Uncut, a fan remake 15 seconds at a time.

That's pretty neat. Is it just a USB-A to USB-micro-B power-lines-only adapter (I don't see any IC outlines so I'm guessing it is)? If so, a cable might be more convenient. On the other hand, it would be nice to have an intermediary on the board that will pass charging-related messages and discard anything it doesn't

Yeah, it is a bit trickier in a car, and it's based on the technique I learned in a motorcycle training class.
