I love this car.
I love this car.
Most of San Francisco has pretty narrow sidewalks and few if any bike racks. Having these tossed everywhere is a nuisance. Having motorcycled in that city for many years, there are plenty of neighborhoods where riding these on a narrow street with distracted drivers is a terrible idea for the Bird rider, riding them…
Yeah I’m All About Electric Scooter Sharing Renting Now
FIFY.
I watched a woman in a wheelchair navigate off the sidewalk, into the bike lane to get around a fleet of these blocking the sidewalk. They may be fun, but their users are really inconsiderate with placement and since it’s not theirs, they don’t seem to care. The tag line for Bird should be #NotMyProblem
I’m all for owning guns. I own guns. I am also all for stricter gun laws. I have no problem jumping through extra hoops if it means fewer deaths. THAT is the problem, the NRA set don’t want anything to get in the way of THEIR rights and fuck everyone else.
Because everyone deserves cupcakes? Aside from the cunt behind her?
Because people can eat whatever the fuck they want, regardless of their weight, and it’s nobody else’s goddamn business?
Plebian!
It all depends on the final drive ratio. With 4.11 years in my 6MT I accelerate briskly onto the highway in first through third and then just drop it straight into 6th from there. Tall FD (less than 4.0:1) and 6 speeds is kinda pointless, but a shorter FD is lots of fun, especially when you don’t have all that much…
My GTI is geared really short, if it was only a 5 speed I’d be doing like 4500 RPM at highway speeds. As it sits I’m doing over 3k. Some cars work with tall gearing, some with short. There’s no magic “correct” number of gears with all cars.
Have to take into account your final drive ratio when it comes to gearing. Running 2.73 out the back? Sure, the 6th gear in that 6060 may barely bring you above idle at cruise. In a non-FI engine, that may cause your motor to lug.
Is this a time for this image? Oh yes.
Looks like the DG Motorsports hard top for the ND Miata.
That would go perfectly with Jason’s canned ham bumper guards.
You need to invent a luminescent version of the Briggs-Rauscher oscillating reaction. Basically, the liquid itself bounces back and forth between clear and opaque.
I am surprised (or perhaps not) that you didn’t go with the simplest path : an A/C inverter and liquid arc bulbs using salts as electrolytes ;).
Is that a black Trabant? It looks cool.
I’d rather have a reliable car without a warranty than an unreliable one with a warranty.
Reliable does NOT mean warranty. Reliable means it works day in, day out and you don’t have to say a little pray every time you turn the key. A warranty just means you don’t pay for the repairs but you do pay in time, inconvenience, etc.
That actually looks pretty slick either way
