To be fair, I googled “Do butt plugs make you good at kung fu” after watching EEAAO.

It seems really sketchy to me that movies like “Gladiator” can be total fabrications but based on something that happened tangentially, but there was an internet storm about the Woman King not being a documentary. It feels a hell of a lot like there’s a double standard in action here.

Jesus, Maverick sucked. I’m pretty sure the script just read:

It didn’t get Cinematography, although that would have been more deserved than Adapted Screenplay, which it bizarrely WAS nominated for.

I actually stopped watching after the first fighter plane training scene because the fucking bar scene with Miles Tellar rocking that same douchey Anthony Edwards stache and singing that fucking Jerry Lee Lewis song with the washed out “REMEMBERRRRRR” flashbacks, like everyone in the room had seen the first movie.

AV Cloob no edit so gud no more.

I’m a little surprised by how divisive Nope is. It’s a straightforward movie, with some very odd flourishes thrown in. Ironically, I think a segment of the internet was sad that it doesn’t lend itself to hot takes like Peele’s previous movies. It’s aware of race but not overtly a comment on race, and the story is

What boring choices.

I don’t know, I haven’t watched much SNL recently but I thought that was all pretty funny. The skits weren’t flabby, the cast was jelling well, and when it comes to complaints of reading cue cards - there was wayyyy less of that this time than I see on average.

I really enjoyed the hell out of this episode. In fact, it was my favorite episode in a long time. Everyone was game. Committed. Playing. Having fun. The cameos were ridiculous. The premises for sketches were a little more off kilter. And Aubrey fit in like a glove. A lot of the newbies had more chances to shine.

Hildur’s score for Tar isn’t eligible. There’s so much pre-existing music that her compositions are relatively brief.

Wait you guys still, like, interview people & do journalism here? Fascinating.

Such a horrible choice by the prosecutor to go after Baldwin. He had nothing to do with the gun being loaded, and was specifically told it was safe. He has zero liability here. It feels more like a publicity stunt by the prosecutor than anything.

There needs to be a space between Warlock and and, and also between View and star.

always doomed to make buckets of cash, with nothing much to say afterward other than “that movie was fun, I’m ready for the next sequel.

If nothing else, they’re less insufferable than those fucking idiots who spent the last several years insisting the film would tank because nobody cares about Avatar at all.

There needs to be a space between Spare and has.
