Excuse me, Mr. Montezemolo? Your um, your horse is peeking out of the barn, so to speak.

@KinOfCain: And apparently they did not do the seam welding on this one that they did on the 350z nismo. That's lame.

@Steve Neill: I thought Nissan was strengthening/stiffening the chassis on these? They did so on the 350 nismo, didn't they? That's BS if they stopped.

@DonLuc: As a VW owner all I can say is: Yup.

@mechimike: Having driven a gas-powered metro, I can only hope that this thing isn't a monumental piece of shit like the metro was.

@Flathead Smith: EVO FQ400 is around that price (or higher), and a bargain even then.

@jodark: I'm with you in theory but the auto industry in the US is not a result of the mythical Free Market. We subsidize auto ownership in a number of ways already (like expensive roads and freeways).

@jodark: Well, it's spelled Albert Fuerst von Thurn und Taxis, but it's pronounced Throatwobblermangrove.

This is actually the second livery for the LF-A, the original title sponsor was Duke Nukem Forever.

- No screaming.

You don't want your CEO suffering from Propeller Lag do you, Ricky?

I do love the GT3, it's one of a few Porsches where Bruce exceeds Douche.

@Ash78: It shouldn't be heavier than the 3.2 S-line which weighs in just shy of a portly 3800lbs. If anything the drivetrain should be a little lighter.

@Paul Fiechtner: Oh, and if the front diff was operating like you're saying it does, with two clutch packs to disengage the front wheels, that would basically be a center differential.

@Paul Fiechtner: If you look at that second diagram, it's proving my point, there's no center differential or "AWD system" in between the transmission and the front diff. I never said the cars don't have a front diff, they could even have a front e-diff and it wouldn't change the front-rear torque split. You need a

@KinOfCain: "Since there's no front LSD, the system would be spinning one of the front wheels if the situation was reversed"

@Paul Fiechtner: Actually looking through the documentation there's no overdriven feature in the Saab system either. And there's no "front e-diff" in any of these haldex systems, I'm not sure where you got the idea that there is a front e-diff on these cars but even if there is, it has nothing to do with the haldex

@pauljones-Jo Schmo's saintly and opposite twin.: What's remarkable about LA traffic to me is the street traffic, especially on the west side and wilshire corridor. Sure, the freeways have traffic on them 24/7 and even at 3am have more cars on them than many freeways see during rush hour, but the sheer number of cars

@Paul Fiechtner: Oh, and because I'm a dick and you apparently get off on pretending you know shit. Here's a diagram from Haldex:
