I said this on another thread, but Ill repeat it here:

I hope the Oscar curse is real for Casey Affleck, but that’s not going to happen considering who he’s friends with/related to.

Can we literally just not with all this “fake news” talk? Every time we say that it powers up Trump and his band of Wildly Coyotes. That word needs to be eliminated. There is literally no such thing as fake news. News is just news.

A week or so ago Van Jones came out on Twitter as an Assad supporter, so naturally he’s also okay with the budding tyrant Trump.

4. You aren’t getting the point.

1. There are plenty of countries where women are treated far better than in the States.

I think the important thing to keep sight of here is that actions speak louder than words. It may be awe-inspiring that Trump can read a fucking teleprompter and sound halfway literate, but no matter what he says, no matter how nice (or at least inoffensive) it sounds, it’s his actions that matter, and one month into

thats because racism has not only been legitimized, its been deemed patriotism.

“I would never ...” = “I didn’t realize there would be consequences for my actions.” Which is why we are seeing an uptick in racist and anti-Semitic acts; people are getting the message that they can get away with it.

Stand your ass up & take the picture for fuck’s sake.

She did not remove her shoes. You can see the stiletto heel denting the back cushion in the first photo.

No comment on her as a person because she is evil and it’s seeping out of her pores but she is looking at her phone the same way my mother looks at her phone. Why can’t people learn how to hold a goddamn phone!?

Having spent 7 years working in a steakhouse, I can attest that there are exactly two kinds of adults who eat steak like this:

THIS all day! I also like that the episode was a way of “humanizing” people of color in a way that reality TV doesn’t often show. Between LAHH and RHW we often see fighting and caricatures. As a person of color, I’m often shocked in 2017 that some white people (including some of the white men I’ve dated) believe

I don’t expect deep, probing analyses of racial and romantic dynamics from the Bachelor franchise. I never have. However, I do applaud any forum that has the ability to bring the reality of interracial relationships to a large number of people (who are most likely predominately white). And I thought it was handled

Is this guy completely unaware that there are single mothers out there, that there are plenty of lesbian couples with kids (hi there!), and that there are many families in which it actually makes more sense for the husband to stay home and be the primary parent, or does he just not care?

To be fair, there probably are kids there that weren’t comfortable with it, but that’s because their dumb parents taught them to be uncomfortable with things like this.

That’s the ironic and sad thing about most of these (stupid) laws. The current way of enforcement is to call the police when you spot a man in the women’s restroom.

... parents and county residents began complaining to the school board.

It’s like all those photos of individuals dressed as their expressed gender saying ‘does it look like I belong in the (opposite gender) bathroom’. Nobody would think twice if this kid walked in to the men’s room, it’s the women’s room that would raise eyebrows. This does not be such an issue.
