I think you and the OP actually agree - the person saying they had to vote against trans rights bc their religion made them do it, that’s bullshit. You’re saying that many lay catholics support trans rights, that’s likely true and a wonderful thing. But apparently the dopey woman in the quote was not one of them. 

Its not that difficult, you’re right. What makes it difficult is dipship hateful people that are afraid of difference and want to make people who are different disappear - or at least suffer. Fuck those people.
