Sorry, I didn't elaborate. Obviously The Eye was not originally loyal to Lenny or anything and was sucked in here along with everyone else. However when Lenny gave her monologue about power being the only thing in the universe, she mentioned "Walter's the only one who sees that" or something similar, at which point it

I was really wishing they could somehow work Lenny into that pie scene:
David: "How's the pie?"
Lenny: *evil fucking slimy grin* "So good."

Same though - so glad that was subverted :) Screw you and your easy copouts, Quicksilver, even if they look totally badass!

I have no expectations at all. I don't know if Melanie is really physically in that room or not. I don't know whether David or someone else will instinctively react to completely change the situation, or if it's a puzzle that needs to be consciously solved. It's pretty much open-ended. I feel like the battle going on

That's my view too. I do think there's some symbolism, in-universe, of Clockworks representing a safe space for David and thus being the best place to keep him happy and under control, as the reviewer suggested last week. But I'm definitely assuming Lenny is pretty much running the show at this point, much more than

I already hum "I'm you, I'm me, I'm everything you wanna be!" to myself a couple times a week, sorry.

She had them pacified long enough to put Syd to sleep, sic a henchman onto Kerry to keep her occupied, and trap Ptolomy in his Spotless Mind. She also enjoyed fucking with them with bad therapy…for a little while. But now she's wearying of that, and she's seemingly reduced their ability to resist enough that she's

This is going to sound condescending and I apologize for that, but there are several people going "gosh when are we gonna get past this head stuff and get to the main war plotline". Y'all have definitely missed what this show is going for since episode 1, which is figuring out what's going on in David's mind first and

Tink's being sarcastic. She is clearly the big bad at this point.

The war is over. David killed them all. The real story is that everyone was so hyped about the war they didn't bother examining the weapon they were building.

To be fair this was the least scary episode other than perhaps the pilot. The monster / knife-wielding giant cartoons chasing characters through haunted memory houses, hands tearing red rips through your mind, Dan Stevens' freaky fucking psycho rapey grin all through last episode - you gotta admit those at least had

Hm. But Caprica Six touches Baltar like, all the fucking time!

How dare you. Chuck can't help that she's led a really sheltered and traumatized life and is consequently a little weird!

This episode also re-emphasized the distinction between body, mind, and brain. Lenny says she doesn't need David's MIND, but she'll take his powers, which reside in the brain. Consistent with Syd also getting David's brain powers but not his mind when switching with him.

Like @ben_bb:disqus , I recall the story being "I switched into my mom's body, we starting having sex, then my own body switched back around me and that's when everyone started freaking out."

I agree it wasn't as propulsive. At the same time I had fun with the different style. And the dance sequence might have been the most fun this show has ever been in any one scene. I'm happy with it but I can understand not being so.

I was worried we were gonna get some Quicksilver-style "lol since the world is slow motion you can mess that momentum/energy around any way you want for free", but nope, she just has to watch.

The Eye knocked out Rudy to take his form, so he's out to lunch in the astral plane too. Sorry :P

Yeah I think this is one of the few shows that would just overwhelm me if I tried to binge on it. Even if the plot isn't that fast moving the sensory input alone needs to roll around and settle for a bit.

Tom Hiddleston has been almost 75% as good. That's about as close as they've gotten.
