Just to throw some NON-Charlie/Deon-related comments in here :) - I actually really liked the Faizon Love plot. Given their middle agedness, I assumed from the start that he had SOME artistic talent in order to last this long without us seeing him crashing on Dre's couch before. So the ending felt pretty natural - Dre

Ah, LotR references. We've identified the Junior of this board :)

It's comedy shorthand for "guy who is totally distraught and isn't taking care of himself anymore". And, I dunno, he has a gland problem that causes fast hair growth?

I was surprised there was no resolution to the - I'm gonna go ahead and downgrade it to the "D" plot :P Next episode he seems totally back to normal, so I was especially expecting some turn in that story since I accidentally watched out of order.

The networks don't make you sign up although sometimes you have to wait for a delay, and the episodes expire after awhile.

What the fuck is that? I could understand the casual sexism if the writer was just being lazy and using a well-known expression, but it's like they went out of their way to write something meaningless and stupid.

I saw the next one before this one (what a confusing episode to accidentally skip!), and White Guy Who Isn't Boss was absent. I figured maybe they cut him too since he is somewhat redundant with Boss's oblivious racism, but I guess he's still here. Gonna miss ya Deon :'(

THANK you. I was totally lost there. I counted the same ones you did, including face, but they kept saying it like it's some super common adage! Even Google couldn't help me.

@disqus_okgItcD0yy:disqus I was definitely more skeeved out by the mass child rape than the weapons. It's not like there was a Waco-style massacre. But yeah, shockingly dark for Black-ish!

Where WAS Younger Black Guy anyway? (Sadly, in his other role I know I think of him as "not Shitstain" so he's not doing so hot on the name recognition.) But yeah this seemed like a relevant episode for him.

Damn, shoulda checked the comments before I went down this well…

You aren't psychic, you can't tell me I read that right! Maybe I read "Stanley to graphically adopt Julie in Rome" You don't know me motherfucker!

Hey. Vernon's great.

I dun't gettit.

You'd think The League would've gone to that well, but perhaps they aren't progressive enough to think of the distinction.

@CalibanBE:disqus I for one find the endless anti-Pete comments much more boring and irritating than Pete himself.

I was a little surprised Taco cared enough about the Sacko to mock Pete about it at the awards ceremony in the temple. Maybe he thought the Sacko was something else.

Tie. Tiebreakers all tied too. Only the coin can decide. (Seriously, they were both the best one-off stars the show had, I feel no need to rank one below the other.)

Weirdly enough, the other FX finale last night also featured a baby gender party, a thing I didn't know existed until a couple hours ago. Coincidence, or something else? I'll let you decide!

While the praise we're all giving for the non-breakup is well-earned, I am a bit irked because Dorothy's reaction really did have me convinced she WAS if-we're-not-taking-this-step-then-it's-over ultimatum breaking up. I'm probably biased because of all the actual screen breakups along those lines but I would've
