"My father was a petty man…" was the BEST. I think the next wedding toast I give needs to start with that now. What a way to start a monologue!

Aw, that fire story had such a sweet ending. (I bet she's been using that ending on talk shows all year!)

That deserved a SAG card, line or no line! I couldn't decide between that and "My father was a petty man…" for biggest laugh of the show.

After it had gone on for like 30 seconds and it became clear nobody was going to take the microphone away from Jimmy, I *did* wonder why everyone was still bothering to stand around quietly and listen.

I was a little worried she would just be totally cool and mature about it. It turned out absolutely perfect. A totally natural turn for her, and a great revenge on Snowboard Girl. (Maybe she'll earn her name if she really does show up again next season.)

I did notice the booby shirt. Happy to see my observational skills validated.

Careful, we're only getting 13 shows a year, we don't want to commit TOO much of it to sequel episodes :)

Glad someone mentioned that crew, this was a great finale but was lacking just an ounce for their absence.

One day not too long from now, all "channels" will let you watch shows at your convenience and will therefore no longer be constrained by something as arbitrary as how many hours are in a week. On that day, we will no longer have need to draw such silly distinctions. FX and FXX are the same, I just have to press

What was on earth was that was AWESOME. I love a little random stylistic flourish like that haha. I guess it's the full sci-fi nerd equivalent of texting bubbles showing up on the screen?

Minor typo: typo. :P

I thought Edgar was a little further along than that in the pilot, the streets was only in flashback right? But good point.

I have little sophistication when it comes to music or singing, but I thought he sounded pretty freakin' great. Like "ohhh, it's nice to know Paul and Lindsay didn't have NOTHING in common". We haven't heard him sing before, right?

I couldn't actually remember if Snowboard Girl knew what Gretchen looked like. But maybe the flamboyant disguise would've let her guess either way.

@avclub-ed050d63932389c336ff5076c0c63341:disqus ALSO reminiscent of the pilot, with the "I'll get that" spaghetti moment.

I could not tell which one he was saying either.

That got really dark.

I genuinely don't know how Fetal Alcohol Syndrome works. See my comment above if you want to chime in :) Basically, what's the real limit?

I know next to nothing about this but I had gotten the impression that the traditional anti-alcohol pregnancy stance was overblown. Obviously FAS is a real thing, but is "I can have one" really the extent of what's allowed, or is the line a bit more flexible? In other words, is downing 3/4 of a bottle of wine really

Agreed. I brought those up because they really don't quite fit. But there's no doubt Paul and Linds are both dumb dumbs :)
