I’m anticipating that they’ll go out and spend the money on those candidates anyways. It’s a little bit more indirect, but the influence that PAC money buys was already indirect anyways.   At the end of the day, politicians will remember which PACs sunk millions into ads for them and which didn’t.

For me, it was Sandy Hook. When nothing happened after Sandy Hook, I gave up. At this point, I think it would take a mass shooting with double digit fatalities inside the NRA headquarters or maybe at the 2020 Republican National Convention to get any action.

“These past couple of weeks have been a freakin’ rollercoaster,” Daniels stated. “Me and my cast have experienced pain, anger, sadness and frustration, and really don’t know how to deal with it.”

I too don’t want to see Abrams tied to yesterday’s news in Biden.

R. Kelly was opposed to this idea until he learned that McDonald’s is frequently the first place that many teenagers are employed.

I’ll suggest an alternative.  Mr. Kelly can go to Dubai, but he’s got to live and work in the conditions that your average migrant worker in Dubai does.

On the surface, I agree, but the problem with a rumor story like this is we don’t know what discussions have actually taken place between Abrams and Biden. People also seem to be forgetting that Abrams is firmly a party oriented Democrat, and has been for a very long time. That’s not to say her views and politics are

Well, what are you waiting for?  Log out of this Kinja account and log in to your staff account and get clickety-clacking bro.

Welp, looks like From did it again.  Christ they are so fucking good at this.

So, is this why Sanders is opposed to reparations?

Jonah Goldberg feasts on both of their corpses?

FI guy here, and I’m telling you that when it comes to openly doing things that are in direct contravention of federal law, banks are going to be a bit more cautious than you might think. It’s just incoherent to give them approval that protects them from enforcement action by their federal financial regulators but not

True, but I still don’t have a problem with her responding to the President of the United States lying about her dad.  Like, Trump could just say true things about her dad that would be bad, but of course, that would require him to have some sort of grasp on reality.

Or that it’s not perfectly valid for her to respond. As bad as her dead dad was, I think it’s fair to say that it’s the right of every U.S. citizen, even the terrible ones, to respond to a President lying about them.

You best believe Meghan, co-host of The View and defender of her father’s legacy, wasn’t going to let that pass without a response, just like she always does.

I gotta be honest, I think federally regulated financial institutions would still not be big fans of doing serious business with the cannabis industry given the total incoherence of states “decriminalizing” in spite of federal drug law not changing.

Unlike Libby, that moment will never get old.

That hasn’t surprised me.

I want a supporter who stumps for me the way Sarah Sanders stumps for Trump. Oh, and, give her the inoculation against accusations that she’s not handling issues of race very well. Not the ‘She marched with Doctor King’ one, because I don’t want to have her looking like she’s almost 80, and not the ‘she has a black

I’d also say that this isn’t shocking because of Gorsuch’s broader judicial philosophy, which I would classify as “Douchey Originalist Contrarian”
