I think Atlanta is way too small to accomodate it. Like, all the fearmongering people were doing about infrastructure pressure and housing prices in New York, was overblown, but in Atlanta, those would be gigantic nightmare problems that would make what Amazon did to Seattle look like nothing by comparison.

When you get right down to it, unless you’re watching a PBS kids show, you’re watching something that is insincere, cliched and calculated. I guess I just don’t care if the quality’s not terrible, the material’s not aimed at an older audience, or if it’s not one of those stupid bot generated Youtube songs like all the

I guess I’m saying that more in a “I don’t think it’s a misnomer I think it’s purposefully cloaking a single payer proposal behind a system many Americans have a lot of faith in that isn’t really single payer”.

“Medicare for All” is a misnomer.

Blippi’s fine, and honestly I care so little about YouTube stars that I don’t really care about his past so long as he wasn’t, like, an ax murderer. Some of his videos are a bit too frenetic, but it seems like as he’s evolved he’s gotten a bit less manic.

I hope Alex Jones winds up homeless on the streets of a small town somewhere, but I also feel like the damage is already done. After all, if we were self-hating enough to peer inside the mind of your average Alex Jones listener, their thoughts on this ruling would probably be something like:

Well sure, but that goes back to the fact that Democrats do need to figure out what their party’s range of palatable opinions on the state of Israel will be. I say range because the simple truth is that someone from Ihlan Omar’s district has a different constituency than someone from a heavily Jewish district in one

No, I didn’t.  It was Paul who compared Omar to Trump.

Measuring one of your champions against the behavior of Donald Trump is fucking embarrassing.

To do so is asking an amount of discipline required of Omar—and Tlaib—that’s asked of exactly zero other politicians, not least of all the President of the United States.

And then, there’s making up shit that isn’t true because you’re a puerile child.

*Wanking motion

I mean, okay dude on the internet, I’m glad you never had any wrong opinions about anything.  Congratulations, here’s a gold star!

So, basically, the same gradual evolution on the topic that most Democrats in America have gone through over the last decade or so. It’s funny how, even though the particulars change, every single conversation that writers, commenters, and tweeters have about each Democratic candidate is really the exact same

The Constitution says they’re allowed to do it for specifically listed reasons.

I get that it is not a court of law. But it is still a process bound by the provisions for using it in the Virginia Constitution, which include that there has to be a specific basis for the impeachment. What I’m talking about would come after the impeachment.

I get that they can carry out the impeachment. That’s not at issue. The question is what happens after that when Northam sues the Virginia legislature and says “I did not engage in malfeasance in office, corruption, neglect of duty, or other high crime or misdemeanor”. He, uh, would have a pretty strong case, because

Huh, maybe I read the article I saw about this wrong. I still don’t know that the result changes though. There are still thresholds you have to meet.

It’s hard to say. Sometimes, I think, in our rush to fight against Islamophobia, we tend to overlook the fact that Muslim communities have their own prejudices, and those definitely include some degree of prejudice against Jewish people that have nothing to do with the state of Israel’s awfulness.

Ha!
