I know exactly the scene you’re talking about.  Sometimes you can tell that Rose McIver just loves the hell out of her job.

That dance montage was everything - and something the later seasons of the show desperately needed more of. I understand getting serious and raising the stakes but I was definitely missing that level of sheer fun - both in the show and for the characters themselves.

Dude (lol) - I actually didn’t realize it was Afrikaans (even though that makes sense) until Lesley-Ann mentioned it on Twitter a few days ago. But the subtitles (at least on screeners) actually dubbed it as Lilim (in addition to Maze saying so), so I guess it’s now canon that Afrikaans = Lilim. Which is awesome.

Now that was a good episode. Top quality B99, which this season has been ranging from okay to very good.

I rewatched the last two episodes of season 3 before starting and goddamn that last scene with Charlotte Richards gets me every time. Full on weeping. 

There is cursing now. And a few butt shots. Some covered breasts, notably Ella’s covered by her hair.

If you told me 5 years ago, watching that first teaser trailer, that I’d be bawling over this show, I would’ve been skeptical at best. But here I am.

I’m taking it nice and slow to savor the 10 episodes. The first episode both proved to me that this is the way to go and how difficult it’s stick by that decision. Amenadiel looking for someone to ask him to stay was so damn cute (plus the full beard suits him).
