Didn’t expect Vanessa to bring back Dawn Lazarus so unexpectedly, but goddamn, was I giddy with excitement to see her back on my screen.
I fully agree and so did my wife. If a man was acting like that at a friendly poker game I’d think he was an asshole. I understand there’s talking trash, but she was going a bit over the top and being a sore winner.
Your GIF is proof that the real strength of this episode resides in just how fucking creepy Mr. Chuckleteeth is visually.
On the final episode of Rebels Recon, Filoni all but confirms Ezra and Thrawn’s survival (starts 7:28):
Pellaeon has represented the best combination of Imperial discipline and Republican candor in the EU. He’s the sort of competent commander that would garner the respect of a soldier like Captain Kannady and a statesman like Bail Organa. If Filoni’s new show does skip the Rebellion era (and I don’t buy that, honestly,…
And in the end, Dave Filoni got what he always wanted. Ahsoka is still alive post-Jedi (probably leaving the door wide open for an inevitable follow series set before Force Awakens) and Rex is probably retconned into the battle of endor.
I don’t think I could have asked for a more perfect ending of this series. These last few episodes really seemed to be doing everything Rebels every did well exceptionally and all the awful things sparingly.
I don’t know how far in advanced this was planned.
Hope the Pellaeon shoutout wasn’t just a one-off, he could make a wonderful character to toss in to whatever post-EP6 show Filoni is clearly planning.
I really hope Ahsoka shows up in Episode IX. (I know it’ll never happen, but still, a man can dream.) Either way, I pray they tell more of her story - she’s my favorite non-OT character.
The Ahsoka/Vader showdown at the end of season 2 is better than anything in Force Awakens or Last Jedi.
Agree with the A rating. A rating for the last 4 episodes for sure.
Pryce’s death scene was wonderfully done, first off. Second, oh my GOD the art-design on the Chimera was off the damn hook.
bud, sorry to break it to you, but heir to the empire and the entire EU have been dead for like 6 years. :(
“Ahsoka? Yes, that’s what they used to call me... Ahsoka the Gray. I am Ahsoka the White. And I come to you now at the end of the series.”
It’s a good kids show in Seasons 1 and 2, then becomes a good show in Season 3.
