There has been a low-level panic about fluoride for a very long time. The Dr. Strangelove clip above illustrates this, but it didn’t originate there:

wait a minute r u serious rn?

They definitely can’t think it now that they have capitulated to using LIDAR and will need to take some time to install, test, learn, and put into production.

Scrooge McDuck never messed up his companies.  Elon doesn’t even have the right to sniff Scrooge’s spats.

Let’s be clear, he had nothing to do with actually making the rockets or their ability to land other than paying the people who did the actual work.

Its not about them thinking it is or isn’t, its the fact they openly lie to make money that or their heads are so far up their own asses their are drinking their own Kool-Aid. Elizabeth Holmes straight up lied about what her company can do and she’s in jail for frauding investors among other things. When will Elon and

Elon absolutely amazes me for how he’s trashed his own reputation. He’s gone from being Tony Stark: “Yes, I can make rockets simultaneously land on their tails.”

It’s disappointing that gambling ads are so pervasive today (in general, not just on Google’s advertising platform). I would love to see them get some sort of government regulation like cigarette advertising.

Bit of a double edged sword, in that in order to turn off these ads, you have to turn on personalized ads.

Some ads purposefully mislabel themselves, though. Because I’m old and live in a conservative area I get bombarded by Trump and gun paraphernalia ads even though I’ve said I don’t want political or “outdoors” ads. The Trump ads label themselves as “financial” or some other bullshit. The gun nuts will go with “fashion”

I notice our Breathbarf-conservo-troll pandering out the “it’s ok for me to do what I want because a bad thing was going to happen to my victim sometime anyway” line.

The Avatar movie had that the predator called the “Last Shadow” because its shadow is the last thing people see before it swoops down an grabs then

Iguess this is the “Last Light” that prey see.

I find the location of the photophores intriguing. While some predators like angler fish have tiny bioluminescent points that lure prey, these are huge, and almost look like eyes, and I can’t help but wonder if it startles some prey into swimming up, attempting escape, directing them right into the beak of the squid.

Worth noting you still need to have ad personalization enabled to even do this, pretty disappointing.

I’m firmly in the anti-Elon club, but truth is truth. In this case, it’s not the safety that’s the issue. I’m not aware of any health risks associated with the degradation of the device’s connections, just a decrease in effectiveness.

That said, Elon deserves every bit of hate he gets. He’s earned it. Rational

It’s also worth mentioning that this type of decision (allowable risk for advancement of medical solution candidates) is common. From the perspective of an auto forum it seems odd, but patients are extremely well informed of the exploratory nature of the science and associated unknowns. I actually take the timeline as

I can smell that cars interior in the summer.

At last, the fabled “Daylight Savings” can finally come to fruition

My mom’s Ford Escort did that in 1981.
