Carl Weathers was a true larger-than-life movie star. He loomed large in all the productions I saw him in - nowhere near the full sum of it all. He had the mark of true greatness about him.

That entire story from beginning to end sounds borderline Pythonesque!
How are words in english better, if you don’t speak english? It’d just be meaningless gibberish, and your ability to drive safely would be severely hampered.
So, industry looking after health and safety issues without any government oversight at all? Yeah that’s totally not a super bad idea at all, history shows... lol
Nuke reactors are complicated machines that are extremely expensive and need highly trained staff running them and a lot of safeguards and have many many failure points, and a number of failure modes with some rather severe outcomes.
All energy and drinking water production on a cruise ship will be powered by fossil fuel-sucking piston engine gen-sets, with limited efficiency and high emissions as a result. The US national grid contains a decent amount of renewable energy production, plus the vast majority of drinking water doesn’t need to pass…
You don’t need cruise ships though. Nobody needs them, plus they’re shitting up the environment of the only inhabitable planet in the universe that supports human life. Stop and think about that for one damn second.
As I recall, his character had a bit of a development arc, where he started off as an antagonist, and later ended up an ally. Sad to hear of his passing, RIP. :(
I’d ride a Temple of Doom mine cart rollercoaster with lava (fake, presumably) and rickety appearance any day of the week. Donkey Kong weaksauce bananacoaster? Naw. Pass.
It’s not going to ram into the fake track. You think you’re the only one here born with a brain? The designers will have thought of this. Look at the animation, the tracks are actually shaped like little ramps as the wheels come to touch down; there’ll be nothing to ram into.
I had a GC back in the day and I’ve never ever heard or seen any news of this before, not even once.
I wasn’t suggesting you should be the one doing the servicing! :) I’ve got nothing but thumbs on my hands myself, I’d never attempt an operation like that myself. I’ve soldered stuff in the past (simple, low-voltage stuff), and...I’m not good at it. :P
Madonna, age 21 going on 7o.
It probably has value regardless, because likely it’s just a matter of replacing some capacitors in it and tweaking a few pots. A skilled person could service it up to good working order no problems. But, it’s your choice of course. :)
AMD Duron... Wow. Those were the days! Never had one of those myself.
No I don’t, I’m not a mindreader. Why don’t you enlighten me?
Ah, right. Yes, I’d forgotten all about those “multimedia kits”... omg lol Man, time flies eh?
PS5 controller has lower battery life mainly because of its additional force feedback hardware which previous controllers did not have. Also, because of said additional hardware there is also extra weight added to the controller; a bigger battery would raise weight even more and could cause ergonomics issues in…
You know there’s rechargeable AA batteries (and other sizes as well), right? :)
Somehow these fucking creeps managed to stumble in under a bar set at zero height.
