Technically would mean someone has too good a hearing, to say that. I like how you’re basturizing that word (naw, that would be a mispronunciation like titnically). Also, technically is not the best kind of correct. No one gets to be a billionaire without being fancifully correct. ;)

Invisible (like Methanol, in daylight) flames are creepy, besides dangerous. I burned $600 Of Methanol (by 12 l/case) to heat our garage ‘studio’ one winter in Edmonton. Got it at cost from work. Stainless salad bowl on the floor at 1/4 l per burn, nice soft-blue flame, no sky washout. (Put out lots of moisture, an

There must be an awareness of the scenario among the thinkers, and likely enough shared knowledge/experience. Planes can put out engine fires by moving (diving) faster. I’m more concerned at the dopyness of the hoseman after things got lit. He seemed to be a hazard to himself, even.

Since, as others have noted, this ‘experience’ won’t be available on public roads, why not just make it a VR simulator? If that still seems not ‘fast-car-fast’ enough, mount the sim unit in an autonomous bespoke jet/rocket airplane.

Reminds me of a friend back when, reinforced the bumpers on his ice racer beater. Drove like an idiot, caught lots of anger.

Maybe. But, in NYC, bumpers are consumables. I’ve ridden there, noticed the tight traffic and short ambers, wonder what the insurance situation is.

I wonder if the aerodynamicists in wheel-motorsports have parity (jobs available) in the aerospace industry. Lots of tweaking, even little local-flow control vanes/fins on wing or fuselage. Reynolds Numbers notwithstanding, of course.

I’d watch Seinfeld get coffee with Raikonen in this car. Is that show still alive?

Jason, you missed the most intriguing feature of this car. From ~4:00 in the documentary, amazing lightness. ;j

Fresh idea: full (-car) peeloffs. Might even make them graphic+different.

Jalops should discover the modded side of aviation.

If they’re diving slow, they’ll eventually glow/gloat over the side effects (nicer traffic). ;j

Well said.
