The only beef I have with the CTA is tenure being granted after two years. That’s a ridiculously short time and has resulted in pedophiles and abusers being almost impossible to get rid of.

There’s a very wealthy enclave about 30 minutes from where I live. The theaters aren’t anything special, but they’re frighteninly clean, the audiences are quiet, the snack bar has higher end chocolates and drinks, and the popcorn is fresh. It’s sometimes worth the drive.

This is why Comcast gets so much money from me. The only time I go to a theater is when it’s special, Pixar or Marvel, or a big movie that needs a big screen. I’d rather sit home in my non-infested living room, comfy recliner, and easy access to cheap snacks, than deal with any of this.
