Some of the models, constantly changing model designations aside, barely changed for a decade. So you would be fine if you didn’t know the model name or year between a 2019 model and a 2011 model.

The exterior looks good - I can deal with the fried eggs and it’s nicely modified. But the interior of the 996 is why always dooms it. It looks dated, the controls and buttons are terrible quality, etc. It’s the Porsche interior that most deserves to be stripped into a race car.
