But they have freaking door handles like every other car for the last 100 years. This car shouldn’t be on sale with this set up.

This door info is news to me. It’s horrible. How the fuck does this get past regulators? Of course in the text four years we can expect even more of this garbage.

Agree with you but I would add one other up front cost- a new exhaust. You don’t bother buying this Lambo V10 unless you want to hear it, so some high flow cats and exhaust are a must.

I cant stand Trump or Musk but let’s not fool ourselves about the revolving door of government and private sector. Sometimes it is necessary because the only people with the expertise to deal with complicated private sector issues are those who have worked there previously- whether it’s defense department stuff like

I thought the President can’t pardon civil defendants?

Last and only time I did that was for a CPO Audi in 2005 or so. It was only about $35K and they just did a credit check and then accepted the personal check after that. Must have been late in the day and our bank was closed.

Your experience mostly matches mine- started with C6 A6 2.7T, then D3 and D4 A8L back to back, then lastly the C7 S6. They were all great cars- beatiful interiors, classy exteriors, reliable (at least for me). I left when the C8 S6 went TTV6 (and the wife really wanted a Range Rover- stupid me). Anyway, I don’t think

Let’s just recap what you admitted to:

This right here. If everyone has gas tank fillers on the same side, then every time you pull into a one way gas station (ie highway rest stops), then all the lines will be to the right side of the pumps and the left side will be empty. For maximum efficiency it is best if the mix is 50/50.

Blue or red, some kid had a shitty upbringing that taught him it son to deface public property, and this is no bridge abutment it a life saving device. I hope the community turns in this prick, since everyone in the community has a grandma who may need to be airlifted for an emergency, or a sister who maybe in an auto

I think everyone can sympathize with not wanting to pay baggage fees. That said, there are ways around these fees even if you don’t have special status with an airline such as picking a credit card with travel perks. Of course it is entirely unfair to travelers who use the same airline frequently and have status, who

I wouldn’t pay more than $6k for a C4. You can get a 986 Boxster for $15k and that has a great aftermarket support system and is a far superior car in all aspects.

Yes a buddy of mine drove a base Audi Quattro in college in the 90s. Was cool even as a non-turbo.

Props to Audi for still producing this engine. I love seeing a manufacturer still willing to build nearly bespoke engines- like the V8 from the Porsche 918, the old V10 for the Bangle era M5, and unfortunately Cadillacs Blackwing.

BMW and Mercedes do this because many of their buyers are badge whores. In this case, we are talking about their entry level models. But they know that the buyer is going to feel better about an entry level model if it has the M. So now they are cooler in their leased X1 M than the guy rolling around in a regular X5.

Cat CEL light should be tuned out if this was a professionally done conversion. (I had this done on my street/track car). So read into that what you like…

Car and Driver tested this many years ago even with cars with 400+ HP. The brakes on every single car they tested were strong enough to slow and stop a car with a stuck gas pedal. I don’t know if there is some software in this Pilot that doesn’t allow the brakes and gas to be used simultaneously, but if there is

I will pick a nit with you on Porsche- the Cayman/Boxster is a fantastic old school drivers car. That said, it’s going electric and as a GT4 owner, I feel ya.

I didn’t say that free school lunch policies wil alone have an impact on birth rates. That’s the point of the article- no one thing like child seats or free school lunch will have an impact on birth rates. That said, the environment in which we live now can be supportive of families or not. The republicans talk about

Or the 14 republican led states that turned down no strings attached free federal dollars for school lunch programs for kids. Because they are so pro family.
