E class wagons have the highest income buyers of any MB product outside the AMG G class. These are bought by wealthy folks in Greenwich and Atherton and Winnetka, driven by the live in nanny to and from school and field hockey practice, and maintained impeccably at a dealer only every time a light comes on. NP.

I am quite healthy and don’t eat fast food, which is why eating something like McDonalds makes me feel like garbage almost immediately. Bit if you like it good for you. The problem is that multiple locations on the Thruway have only McD and Starbucks coffee. No other food options. If they could offer food trucks in add

As a NYC area resident I say eff Chick Fil A in Thruway rest stops as they are banned in my home. I also say this NY times writer has too much time on her hands. It’s a freaking rest stop. If I can get some food that won’t make me have to shit again two hours later (ie NOT McD) then I am happy. NY should support other

The A4 is aging but it is an understated classy car. Lexus tries too hard, MB tries to use S class styling cues on a C class that just don’t work on a smaller car, Acura TLX or whatever the hell it’s called now is actually pretty damn attractive, and BMW- well, BMW is not well these days. The A4 still looks good, if a

Great article- thx for linking. Wish more people would read it. This stands out:

It’s even worse the last 2 years with inventory shortages. I went to service a 6 digit Land Rover at a local north Jersey dealer (bought it out of state) and they would not provide a loaner since I didn’t buy there. They also own the other dealer in the area so no go there. I had my wife drop it off at the Manhattan

Haven’t been much of that in JC or Hoboken in years. Even at its peak it was mostly in Newark then migrated to the Pasta Triangle of Bloomfield, Nutley, and Belleville.

Reading is fundamental:

Not dumb- thought the same thing and then even more about it when I heard they did the stunt six times.

The man is, and maybe should be, committed. As a kid of the 80s, Top Gun and Risky Business then Mission Impossible into the 90s and hell even stuff like Cocktail were all entertaining.

At least the front didn’t fall off.

This is why having OEM interfaces is dumb beyond basic radio and HVAC controls. Everything else can be done via Apple Car Play, which is based on your latest phone.

Guess the second installment of Snakes on a Plane didn’t go over well with the crew.

This. You need to register it with a business license. There will still be people squeezing through loopholes, but any individual buying an automobile should be subject to the same gas guzzler taxes.

Yup mixed him up with Merkley in my head. Also a good senator.

I used to make fun of my wife for having a small better powered AM radio in the bathroom. She would turn it on and get weather, headlines, traffic, and subway delays in 10 minutes while getting ready for work.

Could have have the best lighting in the world but it wouldn’t help this pig.

This is what in my personal top 5 favorites along with Samir the shitty rally driver.

Good catch- prob no rear wheel steering. I doubted it anyway being fleet vehicles where you want to keep things simple.

Been seeing a bunch of the Amazon delivery trucks in the last couple days. I hope those things have rear wheel steering because the wheelbase (and therefor turning radius) on those things is REALLY long. Not great for the tight narrow city streets where I live.
