Yeah it would 7000 pounds instead of 6000 and would only go 16 miles on batteries instead of this pathetic 20 miles. This thing gained 800 pounds (I am guessing mostly in batteries) and  an only go 20 miles on battery power? Pathetic.

Safari this bad boy- ditch the air suspension for some off roading shocks, big tires, and all the other useless shit that I see people put on their Wranglers that they drove to Costco.

GV80 is a great suggestion. Probably a little smaller inside than the Korean Kousins but very well executed.

Even a GLE probably is less rear legroom than an Accord. When I have ridden in an Accord a couple times (Uber), I am astounded how roomy the back seat is for a mid sized car.

Couldn’t have said it better myself so here’s your star. Too many Tesla fanboys and Tesla haters around who all get their panties in a bunch with any Tesla stories these days.

It simply means that you need not be a minority who had terrible interactions with the police but instead one must be willfully ignorant to not recognize that policing in America is rotten and needs to be blown up and started all over again.

Cops are worried about de-escalation? They can knock down your door, kill you, say oops we had the wrong address, and take a paid vacation for 2 weeks. I wish this was hyperbole. They can stop you for no reason and you could be dead in mere seconds with no recourse. This is America. This is qualified immunity. This is

If we could just inject sunlight along with bleach into our bodies it would be so perfect. So beautiful, so perfect. That’s what I keep telling Melania.

Corvette and social media? Given the average age of the Corvette fans might not be the best way to reach out….

Your experience and comment on here is why despite a shitty site these days (and an ever revolving door of writers, few of whom seem to be qualified hot shoes outside of the Robb Holland appearances), I still read Jalopnik. The collective community information and knowledge is great. Ironically, I don’t like EVs and wo

You aren’t losing 40-50% of your charge because you run the heater. Additionally, your assumption that all EPA ranges are generous and that real world is lower is also wrong- recent EVs from Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes all had longer real world ranges than the EPA. Finally, if we agree that no one is running the

You got a car with a great anti-theft device. Congrats.

M550 is a great car. Hopped a ride with my friend in his recently and it made me pine for my previous car which was an S6. Both have understated mature good looks, killer engine, roomy, comfortable yet sporty ride. SUVs suck (my wife won the car choice with current ride).

Yup- outside of BMW owners club at the right track (the club and track rules have to mesh on SUVs and convertibles) these will almost never see a track even if the owner truly wanted to.

Why shopping Rennlist for a used Porsche is a must. Found my first there (wanted a track build) and my second almost there (guy decided not to sell). It’s a small community. I was chatting up a guy at the track a couple months ago about his GT4 and realized it was one I tried to buy but it went so quickly.

Technically not a modification but last winter was my first with a Range Rover. The entire windshield has embedded heating elements that turn on automatically under a certain temperature when the car is started. It melts snow and ice so much faster than blowing air at the bottom of the windshield. Nice.

Good points. For those complaining about inflation and what the politicians are doing to fix it, I just point them to quarterly earnings calls for corporate America. See which companies and sectors are reporting massive profits and then you will have an idea which companies are gouging Americans in the name of “supply

The writer of the article stated that he/she looked up job listings at the 5 closest McDonalds to the proposed Subaru plant. The listings that had a hourly wage stated were all between $12-15 plus cash incentives.

This right here. In upstate NY the Turkish American owner of the Chobani yogurt company hires a ton of Syrian refugees and other immigrants. Not only do they work harder, but they pass drug screens and eventually become grateful proud citizens. There has been blow back from the oh so welcoming local Republican welcome

Keep the guvmint out of my health” yells all the red state fat asses on Medicaid who vote against the guy trying to control insulin pricing while asking the government to monitor womens periods and report any possible ended pregnancies to the police.
