Yeah that’s a load of BS. Momentum is mass x acceleration. It is harder to slow an object with more mass. If you put the same tires with the same coefficient of friction on a 4000 pound ICE version of a car vs the 5000 pound EV version, the ICE will always stop faster.

Cobalt, nickel, lithium etc are all dug up from the earth to make batteries. Some people think batteries are made of fairy dust. When a stupid effing Hummer weighing 9000 pounds uses enough of those minerals that could otherwise power 3 family sedans, it is just as wasteful as an ICE pickup truck.  Even worse is to

I hope you realize that no matter how much/little you travel/rent, you can join the various loyalty clubs and skip that huge line in the terminal?

NYC needs to raise fares. If you think about how far you can travel for just a few bucks, it is impressive. I have no issues with the subway. We are never going to see great public transportation in this country because despite a 50-50 Senate, Democratic Senators represent 40 million more Americans than Republicans.

First read the name or heard the name?! If you heard it clue us in because I was basically just skipping the name in my head as I read the article. Not the best branding when people ignore your new product because they can’t say or spell it.

These Honda wheels are atrocious. I think they use the machine look over black to make them seem slim when they are actually chunky. Plus they use the same directional wheels on both sides, so the direction is backwards on one side. Lastly, they offer 20s on something as basic as an Accord so all the douches can add

Porsche Turbo Twists are peak directional wheels.

So this is the off road version of a CX-5? The CX-5 is a handsome, solid driving CUV. This kills the looks with ridiculous plastic wheel arches to make it look all “off-roady”, yet it doesn’t even have skid plates. I vehemently disagree with the writer- the CX-50 is definitely the redundant vehicle, not the CX-5.

Gorgeous color (and this coming from a guy with a silver GT4 and who refuses to buy gold jewelry for his wife- white gold or platinum only which luckily she likes too). I am also drooling over the new Range Rover in gold. What is happening to me?!

Jalop has always been part of the GMG world and that meant getting good articles like this that were tangential to the site (be it cars woth Jalop, sports with Deadspin, etc). That said, there are no more car reviews on here. The actual good car stuff (and the writers and hot shoe drivers who make those reviews

Tom just needs to move on over to The Drive as well. This site doesn’t even have a menu heading for tests/reviews anymore. Why am I here still? Mostly for the good community but the community can only do so much when there is very limited reviews/actual car content on the site. Is there even anyone on the staff at

Cayman GT4 RS

I am sure for $4M that every bit of that interior is spec’ed to the customers wishes, but having been up close with a Chiron and Pagani Huayra the Pagani seems more special.

Since we are turning this into Boatlopnik, I will point out that ownership for those who ply salt water is vastly different than fresh water. Outside of a few major brands (and high end yachts), boat manufacturing and quality control is in the same place as say the Italian auto industry in the 60s.

This officer was fantastic. I would love to see this level of understanding and de-escalation for the rest of the LEO community. He knew exactly when to escalate to an arrest. Job well done. And kudos to the gate agent for not letting her on the plane and creating a mess (literally and figuratively) at 35k feet for

I drove a D2 Audi A8L and then a D3 model. I would drive over a speed bump and it would be so long until the rear went over it that I almost forgot about it.

I firmly believe it’s the internet, and the echo chamber nature of social media that’s chiefly responsible - and the pandemic has made it worse by (a) keeping us inside, and online more often, and (b) becoming politicized - first by Trump, but also by people on the left.”

“This is, of course, assuming that Police are required to follow the law that they are supposed to enforce.”

People tailgate when the roads are packed and there is literally nowhere to go. Like they want me to leapfrog the car in front of me. Tailgaters suck regardless. A quick flick of the lights (flash to pass) handles the majority of left lane dawdlers, without riding up someone’s ass.

You absolutely will get ticketed to for impeding traffic if you sit on the left lane on an NJ highway. There’s a reason they post “Keep Righ Pass Left” signs every other mile on the roads here- they take that shit seriously. Jersey state police are pretty lenient about speeds- think left lane traffics flowing at 80-85
