Tough to find 981 Cayman at his price point. But 987 is a solid choice, much more common at this point being converted for track use (981s out there are still pretty new). The aftermarket and performance shops have a TON of parts available to tweak the car as he grows into it- suspension, brakes, cooling, etc.

....and pedestrians on sidewalks all breathe a sigh of relief. Wait, they’re still making Dodge Demons, right?! Get out of the way!

Depends on whether that 3.4 was fully rebuilt (at least IMS taken care of). This car is definitely ND for someone looking for a street legal Boxster. But for someone looking to build a track car, if the 3.4 checks out OK it’s not too terrible as a starting point for a track car at $5K.

It’s worse than this. We have a shovel ready $15B project (Gateway tunnel) here in the NYC area that would put thousands to work and be an amazing investment in the long term economy of the Northeast and the country overall. But the fucking baby in the White House won’t approve it because NY and NJ were mean to him. I

They look like aircraft versions of booster seats for kids if you lay them flat. No idea.

Just out of curiosity and for the Acura guy- what did you get?

Lewis Hamilton is happy to be on the right side of history in the end, regardless of what it means in the short term. Which is why every NFL owner should have to publicly apologize to Colin Kapernick and every other player who received abuse or threats from their employers over kneeling during the anthem.

Or the bill could be overturned in the courts as unconstitutional because it treats two similar companies very differently.

Started- Posted the same ST before reading al the way through to see your post.

New Ford Explorer ST. 400hp isn’t boring. Probably about the same level of luxury as the writers 4 year old MDX which dates back about 8 years in model life at this point.

What wheels? I just see big black holes.

You are right. They do create vortices for air flow. But they also create downforce for the front end, along with the splitter.  So we’re both right! Yay!

Toyota set a new low bar with the current “dual” exhaust. They literally just welded a non-functioning exhaust tip onto the side of the existing functional one. I checked it out after the current generation was introduced and noticed that only one tip on each side of the car was getting sooty. (Soot also shows who

Came here to post a poop comment and there’s already a whole thread! Well here goes:

The dive planes are too small to be effective. The wing is too small and low to be effective at any speed below 130mph. The front end has crazy blades slicing air this way and that way. The BMW tricolor splash looks like scraps of construction paper on the floor of a preK classroom. And the nose is the stupidest

Isn’t this what Costco has been offering for years but Costco has the pricing power of millions of members? I didn’t think you had to deal with in person car dealer at all with the Costco process.

The Bangle 5 series has aged well- I admit I wasn’t a fan at first but definitely came around- I think primarily because of the size. The F10 was a soft, blobby, feminine look (especially in non-sport package equipped cars- mostly the 4 cylinder ones).

Just like with the i8 pooping a 911, I cannot now under that rear end. The interior is painful on my eyes (and why are BMW owners the only people who think a bright blue exterior mates well with a bright red interior? Red is fine with almost anything but blue- white, black, grey, silver).

Crap, now the Europeans are going to mandate pillows on the hoods every car in Pedestrian Design 2.0
