To clarify, I have neither put a tune on my car (I looked into it a while ago), nor have I ever poured oil down a storm drain. I don’t know how to change oil, never have, and would rip into anyone who would pollute like that. It was trying to draw a comparison.

Oh for fucks sake.

There is no guarantee that Porsche makes a GT2RS from the 992 generation. But the 0-60 figure aside (AWD on this 992 Turbo S makes a huge difference, the 991.2 GT2RS is an absolute monster. Turbo S power but rear wheel drive only. Just wow.

Drive it and you won’t give a $h1t.

Glad you are enjoying yours!

December 2008 I saw a CPO Audi A8L on a dealer website with a picture taken in the summer. I live in the metro NYC area. We got that year old A8L for $50K. As we sat at the salesman’s desk, his inventory price sheet was sitting right there. When he got up we glanced and the dealer had paid exactly $50K for this car

Read the article. It’s more about getting wider acceptance (ie cheaper) electric cars on the road. NJ has a pollution problem and this can help. Additionally, NJ has the 6th highest solar energy capacity in the US (highest in the northeast). So take solar energy, combine with more EV vehicles and more charging points,

Great call on Sprinter. Especially in crowded cities with only street parking like where I live the Transit Connect meets the requirements of most contractors. There’s a reason why big companies like Verizon or the local utilities moved to these.

Came here to say something similar. Not the Crosstour but rather the Acura ZDX. High style, low functionality crossover by a luxury carmaker? Yep. And it got laughed off the market.

I just returned from vacation in New Zealand. We rented a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. From what I could tell it’s the Toyota version of the Lexus GX470 which is not sold here in the states. It comfortably carried 3 adults, two kids, and got me out of a 3 foot deep ditch on the side of the 10 foot wide gravel “road” we

There is a large market of heavily modified Porsche’s out there. Mostly in the 987 Cayman world (great chassis, easy to swap in 3.4L flat six, strip interior, roll cage, seats, suspension, and you have a track monster). A quick search for feedback on Rennlist about the shop that did the mods will tell you if this is a

I have no idea if the commenters statement is true, but I will add that in some places where people don’t feel the need to flaunt wealth, the Denali is the go to choice here. I have family in Sun Valley, ID where there a LOT of money. You see 10 Denalis for every Escalade there. So while the comment might not be fully

Here’s a list of 20 cars with at least 400 HP. There isn’t a single car on that list that should or could get by with a 12 inch rotor (about 300mm). Any car with that much power that can generate high speeds (the days of GM cars that top out at 85mph are long gone) will need brakes bigger than 300mm. I sure as heck

You’re off by one inch but it’s 50% style and 50% increasing weight->bigger rotors->bigger wheels to wrap around rotors.

Is there a Bizarro World COTD that can be awarded?

Porsche CPO warranties are transferable even in private party transactions.

Brakes for my ‘14 Cayman are less than my Audi S6.

They may have used old photos that were better than theirs. Usually it would concern me, but Porsche CPO warranties are private party transferable. So you don’t need to buy the car from a Porsche dealer to get the CPO. I just went through that process 9 months ago. As always, spend the $300 for a PPI.

As others said, each example of a pending problem spurred people to take action to eliminate or minimize said problem.

Did the Mercedes PR people give you instructions on how to deploy the rear wing manually while you cruise around 18mph, aka Douche Mode, so you can fit in the Model X and Porsche drivers?
