I get that Iran sells a lot of oil, but I’m not sure they’ve ever resumed selling a lot of oil to the U.S.

I think most experts believe the EU and China will stay in the Iran deal and ignore U.S. sanctions.

I tend to think if you want to argue that 1) MSNBC is trying to represent hosts like Hewitt as being “journalists” and 2) “journalism” as a process should be walled off from advocacy and lobbying, then this is bad.

Awesome.

But I don’t fucking care about your point.

And acknowledging pragmatic realities. When society makes it okay for power couples to divorce and sustain their power, then I’ll look at someone like Clinton and wonder why she didn’t dump Bill’s ass.

True, but what I’m talking about here is the way Splinter is doing pull quotes from another writer (Chozick) in defense of an argument that said writer in fact sort of rejects in the broader context of the quoted work. A more reasonable author might tip their hat to the fact that Chozick’s view of Clinton is

Right?

What’s funny is, the article cites Chozick’s (The woman who says Reines propositioned her) memoir as some sort of evidence that Hilary was “soft” on toxic masculinity or whatever, but having read a lot of the memoir (a dumb choice I regret) it’s pretty clear that Chozick would disagree with that characterization of

Posters and authors.

I’ll grant you that I don’t think Splinter actually thinks she eats babies, but I would bet you that they would attempt to make a moral equivalency between the things they hate about her and eating babies.

Joining a fundraiser doesn’t mean she’s going to run, and an unsolicited article by some random guy at the WaPo doesn’t mean that either.

But you’re comparing the 90s to 2018.

I suspect Clinton would back this legislation, but okay.

Reasonable discussion you say?

I mean, with respect to what money oil guys will take, you’re overthinking the answer.

Oh, well, guess that settles it.

But even in crowded urban environments, you’re not exactly touching other people’s bare skin constantly.

He doesn’t look like that man, but he’s still the same dude.
